The fact that he was given alcohol changes everything. It' bad enough that he was only 17 years old, but the way she took advantage of him makes her no better than the man she accused. Getting someone drunk in order to let their guard down so they are more likely to consent to you is still wrong.
One of the things Tiffany forgot to mention is that the age of consent law in California is 18 I believe. That's why is considered sexual assault. If it was in Alabama he would be okay because the age of consent is 16.
The age of consent is 16 where I live. Adults who trick teenagers who think they are coming to work then get them drunk and have sex with them are still creeps who are abusing their naivety (especially since he seemed to trust her like family). Its not like she's his peer or something.
I understand the reasoning in this case, but he is still 17. Also, just because you guys have not been molested or raped - and can still think "oh i wished some older hot woman had sex with me when i was a teen"... Well, that does not mean that people who actually got raped think like that just because they are a guy.
When you’re 12-10 You think you want something like that but when it actually happened you’re scared and you don’t know what to do I have close friends that have had stuff like that happen to them and they say it is very trumatic
now roles reversed. yes everyone would kill the guy but as much as we dislike it a FEMALE is much more different than a males mind from hormones to strength to many other things
aly penn uh no not months, he had just turned 17. Anyways, that shot is still disgusting. A 20 year difference in any sexual relationship, especially one with a minor is sick.
For joes example about the peer pressure for drugs, that isnt the same as this. One is an adult that understands the world, you said you were both minors. You wouldn't know any better and are less mature. If it was an adult convincing a minor to try crack its a whole different story.
And she even tricked him into coming there in the first place. She didn't invite him over for sex she invited him as his boss and as a parental figure who knew him as a child (with all the mom tweets).
Does not matter. He was a child she should not have done it. Please stop comparing your fantasy to real life. People react differently to things. Support this man for his bravery for coming forward
Watch Philip DeFranco explain this situation, I love jk but he does it way better. This is a pretty serious situation and Philip lays down all the facts
I’m surprised on how ignorant the guys are in this video. They need to ignore their own perspective and stop putting every single boy in a bubble. She intoxicated him and used her power as a mum role model to take over him. Point is, if the boy didn’t like it, quit trying to convince him that he did.
This white knight act doesn't get you laid. Stop perpetuating this feminism bs, being creeps is ingrained in our DNA. Look at gay guys and their sexual objectification of their partners.
I'm Honestly am crying. Not out of laughter, but out of sadness. How the JK news crew reacted to this story was just appalling and horrendous. If this was a 17 year old girl raped a 37 year old man, that she looked up to as a father figure, than their mood and mindset would be 100% different.
Don't be naive. Certainly we understand the differences boys and girls have, especially in the teenage years. The sexs think differently as does everyone have their own unique perspective. It just so happens that a lot of teenage males are horny to the point it is cliché. They gave a opinion. BTW...what is "like a mom"? Who in the world can replace/act just like their mom? Take care...maybe, but the similarities stop there.
women and men are not the same though, biologocal differences and a large double standart. any guy in his position would have loved it, he knew what he was doing, he could have refused or left, he didnt seem to regret ot after (if he did actualy regret it its not rape, selling something and the saying the person stole it just because u regret selling it doeant work) he probably just wants the money
exactly. They, at most, sipped a glass of wine, drank a beer, or something else real light. Remember because the family member that dropped him off was coming back. I'm highly doubting a 17 YO got buzzed that quick with family nearby to become inebriated. So I think there is a hidden motive here.
The guys are making dismissive statements. Joe's example about two minors smoking Crack doesn't even apply to a 37 year old woman raping a 17 year old boy. They always add their own "logic and reasoning" and expect everyone else to agree. Absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes the jokes are cheeky but this episode's commentary is disgusting.
Man I love you guys but you completely missed the point that whether it sounded "great" to you or not...the kid did not consent to any of this. Just because he is 17 and a straight boy does not mean it would please him to have sex with an older woman.
What the men said in this video literally gave me a panic attack. I'm not a boy and I've never been raped but my best friend is a boy and a rape victim, several times I've had to talk him out of suicide because people have told him the exact same things the jk guys said in this video. I can't watch jk anymore after this, they crossed the fucking line.
What they forgot was he was over there to talk about a role in a film, it's the same as the weinstien guy. The kid probably thought if he didn't theres a good chance that he wouldn't get the part.
Why are they acting like 17 is "ew disgusting" but 18 is totally fine great, 16 is the age of consent for most of the world and in most states in the U.S.
@@MarketLiberal I'm not though. I just said they shouldn't act like there's a huge difference between 17 and 18. And that most us states have the age of consent at 16. I'm polish, our age of consent is 15, so what? In some countries it's 14 in some it's 16.
Hey Libertarian Capitalist, don't insult my fucking country you arrogant fucking Yank... Australia: age of consent 16 - it's not a serving suggestion for sex, it's the point before which the law needs to step in. 16/17 may be a bit dodgy, as we say here, but there's a difference between dodgy and illegal.
A moment will happen when a guest will come on who either went through or close friend/family went through and they wont be making jokes then. Will be interesting though.
Honestly if I was a RUclipsr and I went on their show I would've just walked tf out. My best friend is a rape victim and I've had to talk him out of suicide countless of times because people have told him the exact same think the jk guys said in this video.
1. Joe's right, you can't go through with something willingy then attack someone after the fact because in hindsight, it made you uncomfortable. 2. 17 vs 18 is nothing, Tiff. The whole idea of 18 being a legal adult is just a social construct anyways. I've met plenty of mature people under 18 and plenty of immature people over 18 so that doesn't mean shit.
ItsJoonsung you’re forgetting that she gave him alcohol, we don’t know how drunk he was when she slept with him. Would you honestly be saying the same thing if it were a 37yr old man sleeping with a 17 yr old girl who saw him as a father figure and trusted him? That’s called abuse of power and statutory rape. Amazes me how little people understand about the word CONSENT.
we dont know the details or the 80% of the story and it would be different if roles were reversed because women and men are very different biologically
Thats true, we dont know how much alcohol. I guess assuming he still had some conscience, i think its unfair for someone to go back and say it made him uncomfortable after having done it. If he was drunk and unable to make decisions for himself, yeah its hella fucked up
Did y’all show the know where he literally wrote after they had sex and lunch how much he loved her and how happy he was they “met” again. His career takes because he’s blah looking and this is extortion. I wouldn’t be surprised if the people that dug this up are the same ones that dug up the James Gunn shit. Also he told her that she was his sexual fantasy since he was 12.
9:15 David........ Imagine it's the closest non-parent person to you that is somewhat like a parent..... That you've known for the majority of your life!
Two problems: he was under the influence of alcohol so he couldn’t give fully informed consent and 2: there’s a power imbalance which could have made him hesitant to tell her to stop. Either way, it’s wrong. If he was sober maybe it could have been different but either way she took advantage of him. That’s what I think anyway
Tiffany left out the info on the text messages between her and a friend talking about how she had a relationship at 17 with a 33 yr old in Italy for years. And how if she loses her job over this that she'll move to Africa or Amazon where they don't care about age differences like most of America
I knew they had some messed-up childhoods, but to want an older woman to take advantage you at 12 13 14 even like 15 years old is just disgusting. I didn't even know what any of that kind of stuff was until I was like 15 or 16.
after my assault just like the story, I was in the first stage, denial, for a long period of time. I maintained a smile and pretended that everything was alright even doing day to day activities such as eating meals with ____, because the person held so much power and control-> hence, pretending everything was alright was MY way of coping, a futile attempt to regain a sense of control over my self. I'm doing so much better now, with counseling, cutting ___ out my life, and more- very grateful (: Every survivor has their own coping mechanisms, whether it is healthy/unhealthy, holding me back/pushing them towards healing. This goes out to anyone going thru their own stage of healing, peace n luv to you keep going dawgg
thats not what they are doing... from the very small amount of info they got they believe that the guy probably enjoyed it and just had regreats afterwards which is nothing unique or a big deal idk
Look I understand how bad this is but cmon, 10 months from being 18? Why are people so convinced that in 10 months this 17 years old will be a sophisticated, well mannered, intellectual.
Legally yes, but like bart said, that is an arbitrary number the law had set. But when it comes to the development of the mind, there is no difference between 17 and 18.
Usually love Jk vids, but this one really pissed me off. 🙄 All of the guys in this episode making excuses for what she did and not letting Tiff or Geo speak DAMN
I’m female and I agree with the men’s point of view here. As for the money: he was a child actor, statistically child actors have a tough time transitioning to an adult career, which most likely accounts for the drop in salary. I believe women are doing this too. It’s modern day McCarthyism. Just because you regret a sexual experience, doesn’t mean it was abuse or harassment.
When i was younger i had thoughts about having a relationship with older women from schooling age all the way up to my 30s. But when I reached 40, all those thoughts stop. I can see that its wrong. Its taking advantage of a minor according to law. I started feeling this when i see men and women in their 30s and 40s (my age group now) and they have teenage lovers. Its weird and its wrong. I didnt see the team discuss this angle: what if one of them have a teenage lover would it be weird and wrong...
There's so many people who don't know how to speak up for themselves and sadly they get taken advantage of. Most times people can't understand this mindset but it happens often and I think there is an underlying pain or reason behind not being able to speak up for yourself.
What I think Joe is getting at is this, Regret does NOT equal consent. This guy is 17, and by 17 kids (male or female) should know more than enough that they have a right to their body. This really reminds me of the Aziz situation, the woman REGRET what happened and she went through with it anyways. Gray area in the story, but I see where the guys are coming from. In short, he went through with it and now regrets it. Regret doesn't get you into the MeToo movement
Joe made the most sense here. He actually brought a lot of insight. Regretting something doesn't make is rape, but at the same time I can't assume the guy's mental state at the time. I'm all for equal punishment for the same crime. While I say that I do agree with Joe's statement. It's just logical.
@@SnowAnayathatweirdgirl Except she gave him alcohol. Joe is hypocrite. It's illegal to give alcohol to minors, it's illegal to drug them. That's what she did.
If she cared about obtaining consent maybe she shouldn't have tricked him into coming to work as his boss, treated him like her son and gotten him drunk.
I feel like if you do something like have sex with someone and then a day later you regret it that just on you you just made a bad choice. And also I agree with Joe. I honestly believe there is an ulterior motive why he is saying something now when there is more money involved.
17 is the legal age of sexual consent in a lot of places. Including where I live, Texas. As far as I'm concerned, it was consensual, whether he regretted it later or not. It's a lesson for him to learn, not to just put blame on other people. I would say the same if he was a girl.
People need to realize, if you don't say no, the other person has no clue what you're thinking, so going through with sex without saying no, makes it consensual. Claiming rape later isn't fair to the other person at all, criminalizing them and giving them guilt for your inability to make good decisions for yourself. It's so much easier to just say "sorry, I regret what happened, and I don't want to do it again."
@@SmokenHash I don't think you understand that not everyone can say no or even speak when they're intoxicated. Also in California age of consent is 18. Its illegal. Theres also a huge difference between two people being intoxicated and one person being more sober than the other. If you're sober hsve sex than regret than i understand your point but in this case. All signs dont look good for her.
WYNOLLO TV Like Joe said, I'm going more off how everything was stated. Didn't seem like he really had a problem with anything until much later, even after the alcohol had worn off. It just seems more he's using the law to his advantage. This is my opinion though, you don't have to agree.
WYNOLLO TV As well, if it was someone that he really considered that close to him, taking legal action for a one time mistake is still pretty harsh. She's not actually his mom, and she could have easily just misread the situation. We don't know the whole story, but he didn't claim to feel pressured or over intoxicated. People are assuming he was blackout drunk or something. Yes, I understand that legally with any alcohol you can't give consent, and legally he's under the age of consent, but the story as a whole seems more like he's just using those details to his advantage.
I think the main thing with guys is that we always view Sexual Assault as how we would enjoy the experience... BUT in these situations that the Assault would be non consensual and unwanted.
They miss the point of that she is a hypocrite, she abused a 17 year old boy and paid him off and is going of on her abuser like she didn't do the same thing
I feel like it's always like that in JKN, Joe or the side people would go Blasting their Views onto the video, and Tiff want to give them the correct info and what's the issue, but got shut down by Joe or the others for it.

One of the things Tiffany forgot to mention is that the age of consent law in California is 18 I believe. That's why is considered sexual assault. If it was in Alabama he would be okay because the age of consent is 16.
Is it legal to give alcohol to kids in the liberal shithole that California is?
@@tomasocava2086 no but they get it somehow anyway lol
The age of consent is 16 where I live. Adults who trick teenagers who think they are coming to work then get them drunk and have sex with them are still creeps who are abusing their naivety (especially since he seemed to trust her like family).
Its not like she's his peer or something.
Maybe the alcohol she allegedly gave him might have been why he had a delayed reaction?
Definitely
I understand the reasoning in this case, but he is still 17.
Also, just because you guys have not been molested or raped - and can still think "oh i wished some older hot woman had sex with me when i was a teen"... Well, that does not mean that people who actually got raped think like that just because they are a guy.
Consent and regret are two complete different things, so don't mix it up folks !
He grew up with her in his life......
Chris Ho he was drunk and a minor
Just a reminder it’s still illegal to give a minor alcohol and to have sex with a minor.
Yeah, but jk hypocrisy is legal
Tomaso Cava Ain’t that the truth.
People fail to understand that even if the age of consent is 16 they still come with limitations.
@@oldfashiondragon There's no limitation when you get them drunk. It's called rape.
Your friend is wack.
aly penn uh no not months, he had just turned 17.
17 and 2 months is not far from 18... many places have consent at 16 or lower and different people mature at different ages
Watch Philip DeFranco explain this situation, I love jk but he does it way better. This is a pretty serious situation and Philip lays down all the facts
"I dont see the problem" not cool man not cool, this ep was frustrating to listen too
I’m surprised on how ignorant the guys are in this video. They need to ignore their own perspective and stop putting every single boy in a bubble.
She intoxicated him and used her power as a mum role model to take over him.
Point is, if the boy didn’t like it, quit trying to convince him that he did.

Being an emancipated teen doesn't mean all laws apply to you if you're still underage.
Oh please, at 17 he knew what he was doing... He didn't get pressured into it, he just went along with it.

Theres loads of things in life that you would "die" for. Then when you get them or experience it, it's either horrible or underwhelming.
If it was a woman who was raped they wouldn't have the same energy. No wonder they're fading they're comedy is cowardice.

Hello there
Why are they acting like 17 is "ew disgusting" but 18 is totally fine great, 16 is the age of consent for most of the world and in most states in the U.S.
@@MarketLiberal where did you get that from? Lol
@@MarketLiberal I'm not though. I just said they shouldn't act like there's a huge difference between 17 and 18. And that most us states have the age of consent at 16. I'm polish, our age of consent is 15, so what? In some countries it's 14 in some it's 16.
These weird old act like 18 and 25 dating this strange also
Except when you do something illegal to a minor, like alcohol, that is considered a mind altering drug.

ItsJoonsung but he didn’t give consent. He was given alcohol so it wasn’t willingly
we dont know the whole story, how much alcohol, what effect it has on him, how pushy was the woman, was there alternative motives and much more...
NIGGA WHAT. link me these receipts.
Laws have to be enforced.
It doesn't matter dude. He was still a minor so she in trouble anyway even with consent.

Lo Jabb cheers 😋
Isn't 17 the age of consent? Where I live it is and I don't see how that is sexual assault If he didn't verbally say no.
That doesn't matter as long as she got him drunk. Just imagine if a 37 old man did this to a 17 girl.
In some states it is like in Illinois 17 is legal
Y'all keep forgetting forgetting that he was under the influence
We can debate the whole 'assault' thing for hours.
My biggest problem is her hypocrisy, being a leading figure in the 'MeToo' movement.
Tiffany left out the info on the text messages between her and a friend talking about how she had a relationship at 17 with a 33 yr old in Italy for years. And how if she loses her job over this that she'll move to Africa or Amazon where they don't care about age differences like most of America
“Even better” 😂😂😂😂 god dammit joe
I knew they had some messed-up childhoods, but to want an older woman to take advantage you at 12 13 14 even like 15 years old is just disgusting. I didn't even know what any of that kind of stuff was until I was like 15 or 16.
Both Bart and Joe grew up without a father. They have no decency, no discipline, no authority and no honor.
after my assault just like the story, I was in the first stage, denial, for a long period of time. This goes out to anyone going thru their own stage of healing, peace n luv to you keep going dawgg

i really hope they're joking. bashing an underage boy for not enjoying sex with someone 20 years older than him is a bit weird
thats not what they are doing... from the very small amount of info they got they believe that the guy probably enjoyed it and just had regreats afterwards which is nothing unique or a big deal idk
Look I understand how bad this is but cmon, 10 months from being 18? Why are people so convinced that in 10 months this 17 years old will be a sophisticated, well mannered, intellectual.

hakeen corbett This happened in America not Italy bro. The law is the law
Bart is right though. 17-18 is no difference.
Legally yes, but like bart said, that is an arbitrary number the law had set. But when it comes to the development of the mind, there is no difference between 17 and 18.

Pretty sure geo doesn't have a face anymore
What kind of "victim" prefers money than his "abuser" to jail? Jimmy Bennett is an extorsionist, not a victim.
Regret doesn't get you into the MeToo movement
amen
My favorite episode
I feel like if you do something like have sex with someone and then a day later you regret it that just on you you just made a bad choice. And also I agree with Joe. I honestly believe there is an ulterior motive why he is saying something now when there is more money involved.
1. She gave him alcohol.
2. He was still a minor.
Either way she still broke the law. The law > your thoughts
Everything would be different if this would've happened to a girl, you fukin hypocrite.

I watched philip defranco cover this

Lol. women who got rape can reach orgasm doesn't mean they enjoyed it and they are not being raped. This is so one sided and lacks empathy.
Really? I'm sure it's illegal as long as you drugged him, with alcohol for example.
BUT in these situations that the Assault would be non consensual and unwanted.
your opinion is not the opinion of all men, shut up bart, joe, and david
it is the opinion of 90%+ of men though, they said he probably wanted it and that most men would want it not all
