      She is wrong for the underage part. But that doesnt change the fact that the boy only LATER felt disgusted. What that means is he changed his mind after all is said and done when it coulda happened there and then. But i get it he was drunk but that doesnt mean he didnt try to stop anything from happening. Its like that Aziz ansari scandal where he went on a date with the girl and they had sex and all of a sudden later on after all is said and done she only THEN decides to rat him out for sexual harassment because she felt 'uncomfortable' during the date she had all the power to stop the sex from happening but instead she waits for her fear to be done and then says she felt uncomfortable. Something is off here am i wrong?

    Consent doesn't equal comfortable, so many people throw around the word consent and than take it back because they didn't like it afterwards. Consent is you willingly agreeing to have sex (in this case) if you regret it that doesn't mean consent is gone, it's not a guarentee that you'll like it. So if you give consent and don't like how you feel afterward than talk about it but don't be making false accusations
    EDIT: this consent doesn't apply to the article its about consent and adults.

I wish JK would just stop talking about stuff like this because it's alarming to hear their ignorant perspective "he's a boy- must have enjoyed it" just because they claim they would've at the time. This is why no one takes male victims seriously and why they have a high suicide rate. 17 is the legal age of sexual consent in a lot of places. Including where I live, Texas. As far as I'm concerned, it was consensual, whether he regretted it later or not. It's a lesson for him to learn, not to just put blame on other people. I would say the same if he was a girl.

    • @SmokenHash
      @SmokenHash 6 лет назад

      People need to realize, if you don't say no, the other person has no clue what you're thinking, so going through with sex without saying no, makes it consensual. Claiming rape later isn't fair to the other person at all, criminalizing them and giving them guilt for your inability to make good decisions for yourself. It's so much easier to just say "sorry, I regret what happened, and I don't want to do it again."
