Storytelling, pacing, music, beautiful shots, this is truly top notch. The best RUclips has to offer. I have been hooked since the first few videos and each new one is a true gift for aviation enthousiasts and beyond. Please keep doing what you are doing!
This has quickly become my favourite aviation channel. The job, the sights, combined with your fantastic ability to tell a story fill a very good niche in this community. Your videos have a vibe similar to the novel “Ferry Pilot” by Kerry McCauley. Love the sense of adventure combined with a look at the logistics needed to circumnavigate the globe, keep them coming!
I’ve been watching Aviation content on RUclips for years and I can’t believe I only just came upon this channel. Just want to say this is simply one of the best Aviation channels out there. Keep up the great work, the videos are very informative, interesting and simply enjoyable to watch.
Love the call out on the adverse effects of automation. I designed and installed controls on large utilitie sized power plants boiler/turbine systems. I worked with pneumatic controls with crude automation and replaced most with programmable microprocessor control systems all over the country. The old school operators could do amazing recoveries from issues. 30 years later, it’s hands off now and if that automation doesn’t work well for the anomaly, it’s lights out. So interesting to see that to an extent in aircraft automation these days.
Just found this thread, and am really enjoying it. Reminds me of when I was flying for Omni. Btw same thing happened to me when flying an older BBJ. Loss of ADC 1. Fun times…….
New to the channel (From Australia) I've been binge watching all your older videos. I'm hooked. They're so well produced. The voice-overs, information about the planes, the travel. It's great to see you guys getting more subs! Bravo
Thank you for sharing your trip here. It is something to fly over the Pacific Ocean at night and it hard to see anything at all. That nice tropical atoll is small and to not see anything at night except but a red light is crazy!!!! I always would come up into the cockpit and sit the Captain or First Officer and look out the windows when we did our Hong Kong trips. You are so right about seeing nothing at night until seeing the horizon. Flying is still beautiful for me.
Loved the earlier videos and loved this one as well. Some of the last few cowboys of aviation. Pitot tubes? Meh. GPWS screaming at ya? Eh, field in sight. Would jump seat with you fellas any day.
@@CockpitCasual I said it before on another video of yours but if i had the type ratings i'd def send a resume. Crazy awesome gig you got going. Keep being awesome. Maybe we'll bump in to each other on the links somewhere. I only push TBM's and Jungle jets.
I don’t comment on RUclips videos very often, but your content is just about as perfect as it gets. Im a GA pilot, member of the smokehouse pilots Facebook community, airport enthusiast and aviation community participant, photographer, videographer for big aerospace companies and know my way around marketing and content creation. The thing that make your channel so amazing, is the “tempo” to the images, the incredible music and specially the narration (your voice). Although your videos are sometimes lengthy, they do not feel like that at all, due to the perfect timing of all the things I just described I really find myself on the journey with you. Please don’t loose your way, as you grow the channel and try to come up with more material to grow your audience. Best.
Really loving this video! It is so interesting to see how this flights are going! Normally everything is happening behind closed doors and you are opening those doors for us! Thanks a lot for that Steve!
Yes! I believe I'm with everyone else when I say I absolutely love these videos. Going back watching old ones, I click the like before it has even finished loading
I'm hooked! What an amazing group of people who are not only flying, but also play in a music studio creating superb sound tracks of some of the worlds finest jazz. Yep I'm Hooked! Where to next?😊

Was servicing the lav on a Falcon 50 and the previous cart user had left the drain valve open, oops. in the hangar............. just one of the lav stories. Entertaining videos, good camera views, good audio, good music, great way to make a living in aviation, has to be more enjoyable than the airlines, corporate, or charters.
Your Dad's jazz band always gets me dancing in my chair. He really swings. He's from Philly, too? I thought I heard that at the end of one of your films. By the way, did I tell you that I played jazz piano, and earlier, blues organ and guitar as a youngster, and my Son James is an airline pilot who was with American but just moved to United to be based here in Denver. During the Pandemic, he flew for two privates -- Mountain Air, and I Can't Remember the Other. Damn, those aisles in the 737 look so narrow in the GoPro. Bob's Son is so young! When I traveled much, the best was SAS and maybe Singapore. Emirates wasn't on the map in the 1980's. I used to love the upstairs lounge on the Pan Am, then United 747. But it was nothing like the Emirates head! Happy ConTrails.
Another awesome vid. Jazz, flying, storytelling… yea, but about them lavs now…. Flush every 20 minutes. Fun times. At least you didn’t have hydraulic failures of a greater impact! Cheers
Another great video! Majuro is one of my favourites. I’ve worked with Brian on a mission before, great guy. I didn’t know he had video shoot and narration skills as well!
@@CockpitCasual High praise for good reasons. Real people doing real flying in real aeroplanes - no theory lessons about what other people did correctly and/or incorrectly. Great production, great music, interesting characters. And a bit of homegrown content - I live is Brisbane. No politics. Good humour. And how many other channels show flights into and over tiny airports in the middle of the Pacific. Please keep up the great series - be a great series to show your kids as they get older and more interested in what "dad" does/did for a living. And great for you to reminisce as well.

Played that course Steve. Malama Bay. It's on the Hickam side of Pearl. As a course goes its not amazing, but because of where it is, it's my favorite course in the world. All day long you can smell break dust, tire smoke, and jet fuel. My kind of course. If you want a few pics I'll sent you some directly :) I'll bring you on if you promise to be good lol.
