  • On April 30, 2011 at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, Andrew Young was interviewed by his longtime friend Jack H. Watson Jr. Ambassador Young discussed his role in the American civil rights movement. Jack Watson is chair of the National Portrait Gallery's Commission, and served as chief of staff for President Jimmy Carter.
    Andrew Young's portrait by the artist Rossin was added to the Portrait Gallery's collections, and can be seen in the exhibition "The Struggle for Justice" on the second floor.
