It already does exactly that, but sometimes it decides not to break
Although them not focusing on character pick rate sounds bad, it’s actually not. In QP and Comp, people pick characters that aren’t meta all the time. So if they nerfed heroes based off pick rate, heroes like genji, doomfist, etc would be nerfed based off that method. Meanwhile heroes like rein would get buffed

You think this is bad wait until the 6 month mark hits for 5v5...completely dead servers. They're dead now because everyone knows it's being killed and have chosen new games. There will be an initial burst of play in 5v5 until it becomes apparent that deathmatch was always in arcade...for a reason.

@@HoneyShrimps I know, however, I characterize it differently. PvE is the add-on. 5v5 is a subtraction. You are correct regarding Blizzard's focus...it isn't PvP nor has it been for the better part of two years. The clips with the dev in this video are most telling. The distinction and vision of Overwatch has slowly been whittled away...ironically under the name "Acti'vision'".

I find reporting other players for shouting or earrpng on the mic completely childish or just acting like a cupcake. If they didn’t say anything offensive just mute and move on. I was banned for ever for shouting at the end of games (never sweared or said anything offensive. I barely even talked) somehow I was banned 😩🙄
Edit: Btw, the account was previously my brothers. Probably explains why I was banned for ever first time.
