- King Frederik X of Denmark, the new king of Denmark after abdication by his mother Queen Margrethe, together with his wife Queen Mary of Denmark, Prince Christian, the new Crown Prince of Denmark, Princess Isabelle, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine and Princess Benedikte of Denmark at the celebratory service in Aarhus Cathedral on the occasion of the change of throne in Aarhus, Denmark.

Considering the blistering weather and temperature at proclamation day and here, my heart melts by the number of attendances. In a fractioned world the Kingdom of Denmark´s populations stand together in unity, appreciating the continuity pole through our societies our monarchy represent to us. Long live HM King Frederik the tenth! Long live HM Queen Mary!
Granny Queen is wonderful
They are all so kind! I don’t know how can they stand the freezing weather with those clothes, not warm enough. I couldn’t use stockings and high heels with a dress or skirt in the freezing weather as Queen Mary so graciously does. Brrrrr!
And the Princes?! With a suit and a white t-shirt…. Most probably it’s a warm material,,, but still it was freezing!!

These are lovely pictures. It does make me wonder what it feels like to be a teenager just getting on with life, and then suddenly thrust into all that! I hope the Waleses in UK are old enough when their time comes, it must be overwhelming to a 13-year old. Blessings.
They’ve been the children of the CP couple their whole lives and making public appearances. This isn’t new for them.
Yeah. But now it's on a whole new level. Prince Christian is now next in line, with the others all moving up a notch. Still must be a bit overwhelming for them
@@jessicagreen8883It’s different now. Listen to some of Queen Margretes interviews. She does speak about how busy she was when she became queen and didn’t have a lot of time with her children. Prince Christian will also be expected to participate in more official events than before.
@@jessicagreen8883 , well, you've got me there! I'm South African. Interested in Royalty, but really only ever get news about the British royals, so I haven't seen the Danish royal children much. It feels like they're newly out-and-about, because it's new to me!

I love Queen Margarethe BUT I think she should go on holiday for 2 months to give the new King and Queen a chance to do their thing before she reappears.
Probably she will do that when she feels that her beloved kingdom is going on according to her plans.
This was about the change. I think she will take some time off when the change over events are finished.

The Palestinian flag represents ALL Palestinians, including christians! The Danish Church is an INCLUSIVE organisation! Love thigh neighbour etc. Officials from other faiths participated!
