I totally agree with you! I absolutly love both, Evanescence and Lacuna Coil. But you can't compare these bands because they are completly different genres. so leave them alone and listen to the music!
Yeah I just wish that Evanescence would come to Minnesota. I went to the Disturbed concert when they were on the Music As A Weapon IV tour and Lacuna Coil was with Disturbed playing with them at the time. That's actually when I first heard of Lacuna Coil. Disturbed was the main event which was fucking awesome, but Lacuna Coil was really good to listen to as well. :)
Evanescence played only 3 concerts here in Germany, so I went to one of them (my first Ev concert :') ) and now I found out, that Lacuna Coil comes to Germany in november :) This would be my first Lacuna Coil concert :) I would love to see Evanescence and Lacuna Coil together, maybe at a festival or something like this, but here in Germany, they weren't on one festival together :( I know they were at Download but it's to far away :( And I guess they'll never play at the same year..

@DonOmar06 no.people like lacuna coil because those are a bunch of people who make great music without having any musical studies,those are people who transmit strong feelings and energy through their songs,especially live,those are people who can definetly sing and play,because they are people who stuck together for so long .people like evanescence for amy's incredible voice and charisma,for her sensitive songs and dark shows.

Cristina and Amy are two fucking different singer influenced by different bands so of corse they sound different cause Amy even said when she song Freak On a Leash with Korn unpluged that KoRn influenced her and her band and Lacuna Coil sounds like their influenced by bands like tool, nine inch nails, and a little bit of megadeth and other heavy metal bands like that
