Buddy (Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, he travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter (Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, he reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike with increasingly chaotic results.

My favourite Christmas movie
I have watched and seen this movie it is excellent! I was actually born in 2004 as a baby!
The film stars Ferrell as Title Character, Caan as Walter, Dinklage as Miles and Deschanel as Jovie.
Who hasn’t watched Elf? I’ve watched it at least a dozen times. A fun movie and one that has some of the most legendary actors in it.
