I felt the same when my wife passed away due cancer 6 months ago. Really sad and painful for me because i am working overseas too for 19 long year we're far away though i go home every vacation all totaled 3years, so 16 years also we are far apart only to come home a heart broken seeing her suffering and i stay on her side till her last breath. So painful to loss a very dear wife who attended our 5 kids alone all through her life. Condolence bro dexter and the whole family.

It's in our culture when we are courting a woman, we call it "Harana", on special occasions, in worshipping in a church, even in times of sorrow etc... It's how we filipinos express our emotions thru singing.
