FR SHE DESERVES DEVELOPMENT SO BADDDD- The writers haven’t changed anything about her, basically, she’s always been the rude, annoying, bossy “DADDY COME HERE!!” girl. In (I think) episode 20, Lila says Chloe could change, and yes-!! She could! But the writers don’t bother with her anymore since she isn’t that important/needs to be rude to play her part in mlb. Its so bad, and even worse, for some reason Zoe got the miraculous?? I never liked Zoe from the start, and now she gets the cat miraculous, all because she didn’t ship adrienette?? She already replaced queen-bee before, and now this. Like- Just give Chloe *SOMETHING!!* 😭😭

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought Zoe's outfit was ugly. I haven't watched the episode (because I'm so stubborn about watching the episodes in order), but I've seen the trailer of the episode.
I feel picking Zoe was just so random. Like literally anyone else would've been better. She's got no proper experience like others such as Luka, Kagami, Nino, Max etc.. she's she's new superhero and tbh I think her just suddenly being fine having the cat miraculous with no problems is very unrealistic. I thought Luka knowing about Adrien and Marionette being the previous holders was foreshadowing him recieving one like the way Alya knew and got the miraculous of the ladybug but apparently not. I honestly don't see how that ties into the story anymore as it seems to be sidelined and forgot about. I feel season 5 is losing its touch with all the drama centred around Adrien and Marionette's relationship as its becoming too repeditive and too predictable. It's becoming boring to watch and it makes me so sad 😭😭😭
If they actually made Sabrina have a redemption arc starting in Penalteam to forget Chloe and give her more space, we would probably have got her as the cat noir holder.
I think Plagg didn't chose Luka bc he prob didn't know abt Luka knowing BOTH of the holders identities. Knowing the snake's miraculous power and logic, only the kwami and holder knows abt what happened before the second chance that fixed everything. Ofc, Luka knows abt the identities bc of a second chance were Ladybug and Chat noir got attacked by Wishmaker, making HIM the only ONE who actually REMEMBERS what happened. As in the second chance that fixed everything neither Ladybug or Chat noior got attacked by the akuma, making not even Plagg or Tikki know about Luka knowing both of the holder's identities.

Tbh, Plagg picking Zoe didn't feel that bad to me Plagg is a very chaotic individual, him gravitating towards the one classmate that was thinking differently to the rest of the class makes sense What I didn't like was how they had to paint the rest of the class in a worse light just for Plaggs reasoning to make sense He could've been inclined towards Zoe for many reasons like her style being unique or her saying something funny that he liked, but they chose to make the entire class terrible friends to Marinette just so Zoe could be "The nice one that actually cares" so Plagg could pick her I don't mind Zoe being picked per se, it could've been pulled off, I do mind the reason she was picked being rlly bad

The show has serious problem with pacing. Half the season they just do things randomly that dont even matter, then one episode they just shove everything and solve everything without any build up and expect us to call the writers genius, and thats exactly what half the fandom did. Many people praised the show without taking a second to actually judge and give proper feedback. The writers aware of this, so they just do below bare minimum and they know half the fandom will praise them regardless as long as they got Adrienette or Ladynoir moment
Fr Plagg could have chosen literally anyone he has a positive expierience with, or a ex holder he knows the identeties of. That includes: Luka, Kagami, Max and Rose. He couldn't pick Nino because of Alya being his girlfriend. And if we wanted some hella juicy drama... what if Plagg picked... Nathalie.
I agree, luka should of got the cat miraculous instead, not being sexist or anything but 1. I think 1 girl and 1 boy would be a better duo, 2. It would be very funny since the new ladybug holder knows who ladybug is, and if luka was the new cat holder then he would know who cat noir is (also ladybug but u get it) and finally 3. I think luka is the second most intresting male character (1st being adrien) so thats my opinion and thoughts

Imo, the outfit is supposed to be bad cause we don't want her to be the cat holder. they did Zoe so dirty with the outfit. I don't hate Zoe, but the outfit sucked. I think she's cute and adds a little kindness to the show that we sometimes miss out on with Lila and Hawk Moth, (monarch, whatever they name him) but they could've easily made Kagami the bee holder as even though she was outed as her dragon, (ryuko?) people wouldn't know she was the bee holder. or, just a thought, Mari could've used it herself. She has the capability to use many miraculous at once, and she also has been ladybee before. I don't mind zoe, but if she didn't exist I wouldn't be angry.

What the writers and Thomas Astruc could've done - Made Chloe have an actual redemption arc, made Zoe a background character or just a side character, not make Marinette creepy, Adrien calling Chloe out and Chloe starting to change a bit more, Zoe or someone else gets the bee miraculous to only save Chloe from the akumatization, for Zoe to not be a Mary Sue and for her to have actual flaws, Chloe either gets to keep the bee miraculous or for her to get the black cat or ladybug miraculous. Chloe would still have flaws trying to be better at times though. What the writers and Thomas Astruc did - Made Chloe throw her redemption arc away, made Zoe important for no reason, made Marinette creepy, made Chloe and Adrien stop being friends all because she nearly sabotaged a movie, made Zoe a Mary Sue and have little to no flaws, and had Zoe be the new black cat miraculous for no reason at all.
Kagami would make a FANTASTIC Chat Noir, in my opinion ofc. I also think that she would make a better holder for the Cat Miraculous that Luka, just because Luka knows too much from having the other Miraculous. That being said, they could both probably do it and pull it off way better than Zoe

Zoe has a great design and i love her voice in the german version. But her character is a mary sue... She literally replaces two holders. I get it that there needs to be a new bee miraculous holder but they could've waited for that like a bit... They gave it to her 1-2 episodes after they introduced her. Marinette didn't even know her that good at that point. Luka or Kagami really wouldve been better. And i would've liked to see that more. Zoe seems like a rushed character to show that she is "better" than Chloe. I get it that Chloe can't be the holder anymore but at least wait for a character to come along that at least made sense!
I like Zoe, I also like Chloe. I feel like Zoe could’ve had a longer arc of trying to fit in with her sister. In her debut she tried really hard to appeal to Chloe and even was a bully for a few moments. She would’ve had some good character development over the season if she had been given the chance to actually grow a backbone. And become an individual. A character changing up a learned behavior in one episode just doesn’t happen like that. Zoe having to choose over maintaining her relationship with her sister or absolutely dropping Chloe and appeasing marinette who is a girl she JUST met shouldn’t have been as easy a choice to make in just one episode. Decisions like that are hard. I also would’ve liked to have seen Chloe and Zoe develop a bond. And overtime after Zoe converts to being a good person chloe potentially realizes that she’s wrong. Having something like someone in your family leaving you behind because of your behavior can impact you greatly and would have been able to introduce an amazing character development arc for Chloe. But that’s only if she grew to love her sister. As of right now she clearly doesn’t and Zoe should’ve had more development over multiple episodes not just swapping to the new good guy on day one.
If they didn’t screw over Chloe’s development I would have loved to see her as cat noir. Imagine Chloe changing her ways and being a better person?? But noooo

I think plagg picked Zoe because he kinda likes her. If you didn't notice in the episode queen banana, aka vesperia's first appearance, he said " ah that vesperia it's like comparing Roquefort aka queen bee to camenbert aka vesperia. Also pollen probably told him In the episode cat walker appears in. And I think that if they picked Juleka aka kitty noir would look way better.

Chloe can be considered a deep character, she doesn't know how to fully socialize with people because of her mother upbringing, we can see that by how she constantly tries to mimic her.. the writer missed chance to redeem her. I don't like Kitty noir's design, yet they made her the ONLY ONE to actually get the whole "undercover hero" of all of the other heroes. Ladybug is just marinette with a tight ladybug suit and Chat noir just adrien with a cat suit. Some others did it better, such as Max, yet It's kinda obvious. Yet Nino, Alya a bit, Kagami, Luka, Kim, Chloe (I'M SORRY, BUT THAT WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF HER FIT), Zoe's vesperia fit a bit, and Scarabella? You can just easily guess who is behing the whole suit, yet, I think Zoe was one of the first characters to actually get the whole undercover point. Her fit is just "meh" but, she made her have bangs, green ombre and a more messy hair, that's lit all the opposite of her normal citizen self. Also those green lips make her outfit look weirder, yet they fit the hair, and well her suit reminds me of a spy. U had to think a bit to who the heck was Kitty Noir before the episode, since she looks like a complete different character. But ofc If u look closely to her, she looks kinda like Zoe, but to the people on the show the heroes can't stay in the same place for 1 second, making her run and move all over the place, making citizens wonder who is it, since they can't really have a good look.

The show has serious problem with pacing. Half the season they just do things randomly that dont even matter, then one episode they just shove everything and solve everything without any build up and expect us to call the writers genius, and thats exactly what half the fandom did.
Many people praised the show without taking a second to actually judge and give proper feedback. The writers aware of this, so they just do below bare minimum and they know half the fandom will praise them regardless as long as they got Adrienette or Ladynoir moment
Fr Plagg could have chosen literally anyone he has a positive expierience with, or a ex holder he knows the identeties of. That includes: Luka, Kagami, Max and Rose. He couldn't pick Nino because of Alya being his girlfriend.

Chloe would still have flaws trying to be better at times though.

Zoe has a great design and i love her voice in the german version. But her character is a mary sue... She literally replaces two holders. I get it that there needs to be a new bee miraculous holder but they could've waited for that like a bit... They gave it to her 1-2 episodes after they introduced her. Marinette didn't even know her that good at that point. Luka or Kagami really wouldve been better. And i would've liked to see that more. Zoe seems like a rushed character to show that she is "better" than Chloe. I get it that Chloe can't be the holder anymore but at least wait for a character to come along that at least made sense!

I like Zoe, I also like Chloe. I feel like Zoe could’ve had a longer arc of trying to fit in with her sister. In her debut she tried really hard to appeal to Chloe and even was a bully for a few moments. She would’ve had some good character development over the season if she had been given the chance to actually grow a backbone. And become an individual. A character changing up a learned behavior in one episode just doesn’t happen like that. Zoe having to choose over maintaining her relationship with her sister or absolutely dropping Chloe and appeasing marinette who is a girl she JUST met shouldn’t have been as easy a choice to make in just one episode. Decisions like that are hard. I also would’ve liked to have seen Chloe and Zoe develop a bond. And overtime after Zoe converts to being a good person chloe potentially realizes that she’s wrong. Having something like someone in your family leaving you behind because of your behavior can impact you greatly and would have been able to introduce an amazing character development arc for Chloe. But that’s only if she grew to love her sister. As of right now she clearly doesn’t and Zoe should’ve had more development over multiple episodes not just swapping to the new good guy on day one.
If they didn’t screw over Chloe’s development I would have loved to see her as cat noir. Imagine Chloe changing her ways and being a better person?? But noooo

random fact the writers gave up on chloe. I and everyone in the show belived she could change but the only reason she is "worse" than ever is because the writers seem to have given up on her character and don't wanna give her any character devolpment. I feel like if chloe was self aware she would have wanted to become a better person now she is just living in how she's been written bacically in hell everyone hating her. It just seems like the writers got sick of her and want everyone including the fandom to hate her so she could be "forgotten" and they could focus more on the plot. I'm dissapointed. Chloe can be considered a deep character, she doesn't know how to fully socialize with people because of her mother upbringing, we can see that by how she constantly tries to mimic her.. the writer missed chance to redeem her. Plus she was a perfect Queen Bee, good intention, but bad at displaying it, which is ok since she was learning how to be a hero. zoe was a bad excuse of the writer to not give a redemption to chloe. i absolutely hate chloe and i dont get how yall like her. i am not mad and i respect you guys' opinion i just wanted to share mine.

Her fit is just "meh" but, she made her have bangs, green ombre and a more messy hair, that's lit all the opposite of her normal citizen self. Also those green lips make her outfit look weirder, yet they fit the hair, and well her suit reminds me of a spy.
U had to think a bit to who the heck was Kitty Noir before the episode, since she looks like a complete different character. But ofc If u look closely to her, she looks kinda like Zoe, but to the people on the show the heroes can't stay in the same place for 1 second, making her run and move all over the place, making citizens wonder who is it, since they can't really have a good look.
