Fabulous thank you. I just bought a used RS2 Pro Combo that was almost exactly half the price of the equivalent RS3. I don't think I'll regret the differences. Can't wait to take for a spin. Thanks again.
I have two RS2 units, both show Error 1009 upon doing a Gimbal Self Check, after a successful Calibration and Balance (Excellent on all three axes). It does not always fail, but fails enough for me to not count on it working correctly. I've sent them both the DJI for 'repair' and they replaced them both after finding the faults. Now both of the replacement units yield the same Error 1009. I'm mystified that four of four fail for me and I do not see that others are having the same issues. Any recommendations? Thanks
Iam new to the gimbal usage and I wounded if this is a user error of balancing before doing the auto tune! I get the error 1009 and search all over the internet and cannot find information how or what is causing this fault! I tried many times to balance the camera for hours and still cannot get it to work properly
I finally got past these errors. DJI sent to me new units enough times that I now have working units without issues. I can say though when I balance improperly intentionally, the self testing can still show "excellent", which seems suspect.
Question from a newbie: Is there a way to attach this gimbal or any other type of gimbal to a chest or shoulder harness so I could walk with it for a long time and not have to hold it just with my arms ? Thank you very much.
Just got myself one, nice build and operates well on its own. Only drawback is that it doesn’t seem to work with NIKON. Connected everything, including raveneye (you can use your iPhone for settings, makes it very easy to use), but none of the buttons for zooming, focus, or even recording is working. Is this on the TODO list of DJI?
I took a chance with my Nikon D7500 and it works. All functions so far. I have a few technical issues here and there, but so far its compatible. They definitely need to work on their compatibilty list.
Can ANYONE tell me how to make the Ronin-S shoot in PORTRAIT/UP-AND-DOWN MODE for SOCIAL MEDIA (Insta, TikTok, etc.)? (And I don't mean selfie mode, where the camera faces back toward you.) I have been trying to troubleshoot, update all the firmware according to DJI Support, and have been messing with the settings myself. A friend of mine simply pushes the M button twice and his automatically aligns to portrait mode and stabilizes... mine does NOT. So far, the DJI support team hasn't been helpful. I just got this expensive device and cannot even use it. Can anyone help? All of the support videos and forums are outdated.
As usual no one talks about the battery life and the replacement. So far for me with the RSC 2 Pro kit, (Sept 2024) I see that I'm stuck with a condemned gimbal with a battery that I can't replace myself other than sending it for repair!!! No thank you. Sending this back ASAP. I rather go back to analog stabilizer and vest because I can see that people still need to do the Ninja walk,?? LOL and using vest with arm,. And holding these Ronin gimbals for a 2 hrs. shoot is hell. I also hate to be looking at the battery indicator of the RSC 2 while testing it. Stress that I don't need. Well get a V battery bla bla... No thank you I wanted this to be as simple as possible, lite and durable. Well! I see more worries and stress than productivity in my opinion. My A7IV has internal balancing and with the analog Steadycam and a vest I'm sure it will be just fine and no worries about the Gimble dying on me 2 years starting now, Sept. 2024 Until I can find a gimbal that I can replace the battery on my own, I will pass and return my Ronin back to Amazon ASAP. Best regards to all.
Question from a newbie: Do you think the DJI RSC2 or RS2 combined with the Sony A7Siii could produce stabilized video similar to these hiking videos on youtube ( ruclips.net/video/OIQwYWRlXOY/видео.html ) ( ruclips.net/video/1aJ2NikmHnc/видео.html ) If so then can you please tell me how people hold a gimbal and camera for hours ? I guess I just need a little advice on how to make stabilized hiking videos. If you have any suggestions I would be grateful. Thank you.
As a daily on the field videographer, this is the best gimbal I've ever used.
I have to agree with you there

First time I came across your channel thank you for this.
Great video! Really enjoyed you! :)
Love the video. Looks nice
are there programmable movements? Like pan and tilting on it's own in a predetermined direction
Great video man. Another great video would be about the Ronin RS2 lens strap especially for cine lens. Thank you in-advance
Good tip!

For this one you have TILTA Float that holds it for you, pretty expensive tho
Is the rs2 compatible with the original blackmagic production 4k?
