Lucy should have been way more praised for her performance in Kill Bill. She is crucial to the first movie and her dynamic with Uma worked well.

Right?!?! Her character was so complex and likable…the animated backstory… and the FIGHT SCENE. A beautiful deadly ballet. I hear that bamboo faucet in my dreams, I’m happy she pointed it out. The contrast of the peaceful silence of the snow covered garden vs a fight to the death. Perfect.
She should have been nominated for an Oscar best supporting actress. She role was terrific in that iconic role as Oren.

I love both movies. I don't care what people say, specially the 2nd movie, but what I love is the chemistry between the three of them, I don't mind about the rest. All of them were the the real fun.

I'm still haunted by Lucy Liu's performance in Kill Bill. I was terrified by her character and in love with her at the same time.
Amazing performance. And she was just tragic enough to garner a little sympathy for the character.

yep they literally could have done the reboot and it woulda been much better than the junk of a one they tried doing with kristen stewart (i also didnt watch it she ruined twilight enough for me)
EXACTLY, it's the right time to do a third sequel with the Y2K hype now. Maybe get some new angels but still get them 3 involved.

Cameron, Lucy and Drew were and always will be the original Charlie's Angels trio. The chemistry and bond that the three of them share is second to none and they were solely responsible for making the film franchise a success.

For being an Asian American actress who got her start in the entertainment industry at a time when there was no real talk about discrimination, stereotyping, and lack of roles for non-white actors, etc I'm sure Lucy has experienced her fair share of really awful things. I love seeing her so full of light and happiness, it really speaks to her character. And my jaw dropped when I looked up her age... she has seriously found the fountain of youth!

Sadly the Trio just can't do the same stunts as they did 20 years ago. As for Lucy Kill Bill character, yeah that be a great idea, have a new Asian Star take that role while Lucy talks in the background and maybe be a teacher too.

I love Lucy Liu, ever since she was in the brief clips as a exotic dancer and yeah she still look fantastic BUT she and her fellow Angels can't do the same action situation as they done in the past because the Human Body won't allow it.
The Only way if there will be a Charlie Angels three is to wrap up their legacy and past the Wings to another genration, that way, less action for them the more for the future Angels

Kill Bill was incredibly influential to my teenage self. I loved her character, and she deserves so much praise for her portrayal. Also, I love how the Birkin was “only” 3000? 5000? Dollars in that episode. They’re now… 10,000+? 😂

@@adematti He absolutely nailed how intensely creepy his character was in Charlie's Angels. I loved how scary he was. Even the weirdly intense way he was smoking was creepy, in a good way.
And he was wonderful as Willard, the creepy (of course) guy who controlled rats.

When I was still young I've always put their Charlie's Angel's movies on repeat. Sometimes I watch the two movies in a row. My most fave moment between the 2 movies was the motorcycle one in Full Throttle. I'm so happy to see them reunite every now and then hihi
Wow. That Kill Bill detail was wild. She really impacted the movie. If that wasn't in the script... If that bow had been left out... That scene would have not been nearly as impactful. Not even close. And it closes the first film!!!

As an Asian American, Lucy Liu to me achieved mainstream name recognition, which was not easy for Asians in Hollywood, and I'm proud of that. Some people see that as a bad thing, but it established her place in the industry.

@@ct6852 yea, the whole series was screwy though the 5th season tried to do too much with the new characters and that whole Claire Otoms thing and such and I did stop watching it at the time the 5th season was on the air though I did watch the finale. Of course by then I started college so I was a bit busy. I learned to love the 5th season after a few viewings on Netflix years later (too bad they took it down. Is it on Hulu or Parmount+ or something?).

I'm a big fan of the movie (made my childhood) when Lucy said that their legs was connected to a wire i was like "I KNEEEW IT" haha i just needed a confirmation so, thank you Lucy i looved know that.
