Is There Anybody Out There? is amazing. I remember getting it in high school (after years of being creeped out by the cover in CD stores, haha). It is a total head-scratcher as to why a show that well-performed and well-recorded is not officially on vinyl. I actually have a bootleg VHS of them doing The Wall at Nassau Colosseum, but the quality is terrible.
I also got Live At Pompeii on DVD back in high school. That is another stunner. Again, where is the BluRay? It has to be a licensing issue, right? Everything else gets reissued.

I am really curious how it works with licensing and if the status of Waters and Gilmour has anything to do with it. Then again; they did release Dark Side of the Moon Live recently.

    A few things:
    * The full 1974 concert was commercially released on CD, but it is strewn across three different releases!
    * As far as I can tell, they botched the video recording of The Wall live to the point that it would be an embarrassment to release.
    * I am not familiar with the Kralingen video. I might have it as a bootleg somewhere but I have never seen it for sale before. I need to track it down. However, the KQED recording is also nice and I would include it in this spot.
    * I, like you, am perplexed that there is no Blu-Ray edition of Pompeii. I feel that every edition has been a compromise and I am confused as to why they can't get it right.
    * There were other live recordings made around the time of Ummagumma, but these have not been released, for no reason that I am aware of.

Too bad there is no offical recording of the In the Flesh Tour (1977), cheers.
