The dug bottles are why I’m here. Six or seven years ago for some reason, RUclips decided to include a young lady with purple hair with a metal detecting channel into my feed. I was intrigued so I watched and you didn’t annoy me…..LOL. Still watching!!
@@tbrooks5015 The pink went to blonde I think but I'm not sure! So glad I started watching this channel! It's one of my favorites and I watch everyday!
Nostalgia to me from goodwill shelves might include an old recipe book, vintage jelly mould, quaint jam jars, some bedroom textiles, hand written sheet music, Holly Hobby, beaded crochet doily for a creamer or milk jug, wooden rolling pin, knitting basket, nursery rhyme paraphernalia, special brand tins, aprons, some classic children's books, printers tray and mini ornaments, old versions of boardgames, sewing patterns, Coca-Cola glass bottles in wooden crate, so much more.
It's great you have 2 people working for you that like and appreciate this stuff. Letting them have it is a great too. A little gesture goes a long way.
I found a set of those small Russian fishnet plates at a goodwill years ago. We use them daily, even put them in the dishwasher and they haven't faded at all. Absolutely love them! Great find!
Nostalgia, YES! The wooden purse, aka pocket book you picked up in New York in a recent video is bringing back the nostalgia for me. My lovely step-mom had pocket books like that and as a young one her style, sense of fashion and grace were up lifting. 🥰
I’ve been watching you now I guess four or five years and I have loved watching the kids grow and you and Andrew and your parents and now Laurel I just think you guys are great. Xo from the Poconos.
Thanks to you I opened an eBay selling account, recently I had bought a vintage stained glass door for $475 it sold for $2500 and she paid $1000 for me to ship it! (Hired a professional company)
@@Ginger57 thank you! I've also made thousands so far on just selling regular items, the door though, no pun intentes, opened a lot of doors for me 😆 ❤️ to be able to buy more inventory :)
How Crazy Lamp Lady started... I was along for the ride when you were just digging for treasure. It's been a crazy trip and I've enjoyed every minute of it. (and I still own over 40 vintage lighting pieces myself)
The last few live sales have been so much fun. Love the pick one or pick two and they seem to work well. A fun one of those might be trinket dishes and boxes, ring holders, vanity items. I can’t wait to hear all your stories tomorrow and Friday.
So funny. When you said a long time ago you started by digging up bottles it all clicked in. I started watching you do your digs. Then you started this channel and I thought heck why not. Then I started thrifting and turned it into a large business with my friend Unfortunately she is sick now and I have containers full of vintage and antiques lol. It just doesn’t seem right to continue on without her and she is not getting better. We shall see. On a good note I found your detecting channel my second day checking out RUclips and haven’t missed a video since but to my shame I only subscribed about a year ago. Love your videos. You look great and thanks for the memories
Funny! I have long fingers (thanks to my mum) and have had lots of people over the years ask if I play piano LOL I sure do "Mary had a little lamb..." with one finger Heehee. I'm so happy you saw the pink coin dot lamps. I love them!
Gurrrrrlll you’re hair looks sooo good!!! I struggle to find time to get my hair or really anything done for myself in this business! So the fact you can do it… maybe I can too! Lol
I am so wildly happy that you got the mache clown with balloons. OMG. Everyone hates them so much but I think they're wonderful and I have so many! 😂😂 Keep the mache clown decor ALIVE! 🎉🎉
I remember her going thru the garage at her old house and finding clowns that didn't sell when she 1st got into thrifting... she's come a long way and I for one am thankful for all she's taught me!
I am with your folks…we never did Halloween either…I know you don’t like “creepy” so am surprised that it is your “favorite holiday.” 😊❤And yes…plenty of cows in upstate NY! Great nostalgia…also, you said you grew up on the Cape as well…so “beachy” things?
the baskets. I make baskets for the neighbors and local friends for the holidays. I like to support local businesses, so buy from the Historic Society gift shop and a wonderful specialty food store owned by friends. Why buy new baskets? IF you can find them!

Same here. Started watching Jocelyn 7 years ago metal detecting and i'm still loving her content😃
YES!!! The Recoverist but like 7-8 yeas ago!
Oh my gosh your new hair color and make up are so on point today. Absolutely stunning Jos!
Agreed!❤
LOVE YOUR NEW HAIR!!! The darker brown really compliments your beauty!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She is a natural brunette
Absolutely!
My parents got one of those console bowls with candles attached when they got married in the 50s. I've still got it - never seen another like it!
It was beautifully modern for the time period. Very sleek!
The girls were so cute with the unicorn box! You are the best, letting them have it!
How come it's ok if Jocelyn gives her staff first crack, but thrift stores would get ripped apart if they did that?
I'm loving your hair!1

I love the lamps and the pink glass pieces. Yup...your hair looks very nice, the little bit darker with the blonde streak.

Wow, love the pink coin dot lamps! I can’t believe they were just sitting there! Great finds! Thanks for taking us along with you! xoxo
You passed by a vintage Easter bunny at least three times! It was next to the matchy match green vases. That was nostalgia for me. 😂
The pottery with a wedge on the bottom is American Bisque.

The paper mache clown triggered a childhood memory for me! There were some of those at my pediatricians office.
Love your new hair.
It is very flattering on you.
I just found the matching incolay jewelry box with unicorns. It sold on eBay Dec. 3rd for $75 and Now I'm Obsessed! 😂
Man you have the luck of the fairies 🧚♀️ what great finds
CLL *waves hand* “This is not the cow I’m looking for.”
Footnote. Star Wars fans will get the reference 😂

Those little green glass vases were nostalgia for me. My mom had one on her bedroom side table with some little fake violets in it. 😍
Best hair color ever on you!!!!
Thank you for doing matchy matchy on the green vases. 😂 I love them and have several and don't know who makes them. But they're cute. ❤

I think I caught a glimpse of a Nantucket basket close to the beginning of this video 😔. Had the white ceramic buttons securing the handle
The unicorn box could hold box cutters, if you use them.
That was a good unicorn box never seen that and you pulled let’s do the trick with hands that what we do with my kids but it is so cute lol
Dirty bottles are nostalgic for you!
