Thankyou for sharing! I did similar itinerary on March 12th on Ovation…sensational! Only downside was catching Covid on disembarkation morning, many people coughing without masks. I wore mine as a precaution, too late. Got very sick and Covid really attacked my lungs and severe asthma…only just starting to improve..over three weeks since end of cruise. Thank goodness I took a lot of photos and some videos!! 😍🚢
We did a 14 day one on the Diamond Princess from Melbourne to NZ in October 2024. Were very disappointed coz the captain cancelled the Fiordland National Park cruise due to bad weather 😭but it gives us an excuse for visiting NewZealand again. On a different cruise ship of course, most probably this one.

Hi I’m not qualified to answer visa questions. But I would have thought they check all passengers have the necessary documents for their nationality, before boarding the ship in Sydney. But best to check with the cruise line. Hope you have a good cruise.

Prefer not to. But if it is a choice between inside cabin and not cruising at all, then I would.
