Hey Jason! This is the first comment I've ever posted on RUclips, and I've been using it since the beginning. After years of research, and deciding, I settled on corso, I was a bodyguard for a decade and they have the perfect personality match. My pup is now ten months old, and I will have corsos for the rest of my life, they are so amazing. My Corsos name is Katana. She was the last of the litter ( the runt ), and soon after getting her, I realized she had Parvo.with A LOT of love, proper vet care and etc, she is happy and healthy, but due to those circumstances, I have a mini Corso! So much so, I doubted she was a Corso, and had her DNA tested, sure enough, she's Corso. She is the most amazing thing I have ever met. Learns every command in less than 30 seconds, is a sweetheart and etc. she's the best dog I've ever met, and I volunteered for best friends for years. I just wanted to say THANK YOU. SO MUCH, for what you do and giving us these videos. They have been invaluable! Thank you so much to introducing me to the best breed I've ever experienced. It's because of you this amazing being is in my life, and is cared for in the best way possible. You are making a difference in so many Corsos lives! I just wanted to say how much I sincerely appreciate you. You rock, Corey
Your love of the breed promotes common sense, strong owner creates a strong dog. The thing I love about your channel is the strong leadership that you provide.
Very happy to hear that is what resonates with you as that is one of the main things I try to have people understand......what strong leadership can do for the relationship between one and their dog. Thank you for this.
We got my cane when he was already two years old so we didn’t get to train him from a young age, but he responded so well to praise. He loved being a good boy.
Such a well done, thorough video, that will be helpful for any new dog owner! Make sure you share this video for those that could benefit from all this FREE information. Not to mention these beautiful memories 🥹❤️
I just got my little man two days ago. I have been following your page and educating myself for over a year now. This will be my last fur baby, and I plan on giving him a great life like I have done with my others. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with Bruce Wayne and Joey with me and so many others. Be Blessed!
May I ask why this will be your last? And congrats on your new puppy! Stressful for sure but once they start to mature if you do everything proper you will have the best dog in the world.
I am looking forward to spending a lot of time with him, raising, teaching and giving him lots of love. I will be retiring soon, so I will imagine by the time he grows old, I will be as well and won’t be getting another fur baby at that point in life.
@@princesspoyntz111consider fostering at that point. Senior dogs etc. you'll save a life and still be able to enjoy the company of a dog. You can foster for a cane rescue
Just brought our little boy home last night. Biggest concern was definitely our 5½ year old female staffy. She was unbelievably excited, eager to establish dominance, and full of hormones since he's such a yougin'. We were able to let her get familiar with his scent, and although the introduction arrangement was not ideal (10pm at night, at the home), after a good hour of diligent attention from my partner and I we slept easy. I've been watching your channel for years, thank you for helping us prepare!
We have a five month old Cane Corso, which is a completely new breed for us as we are Lab owners. Midnight Rambler was a handful for the first two months (he was kind of a rescue - long story) but the past month he’s a lot better. I found your channel and I’m learning a lot about the breed, which is helping us raise our Rambler. Thank you Jason, Kara, Bruce Wayne, and Joey Justice for sharing your Corso family, and for giving me hope with our new pup. ❤
Thanks for sharing Darlene. If you need help with how to bond the dogs together check out my new puppy playlist as you will see what I did to bring Bruce and Justice together.
In the process of getting a cane corse puppy and I live in an apartment so I feel like this video will help. Especially with the anxiety video. I work from 7am to 3pm and have 2 hours of school so I’m not gone long but I definitely want to help prevent anxiety
Been following you since we started looking into the breed. Our corso is now 8.5m old and we have gotten so mamy good tips from you, so thank you so much! You guys have given me the confidence that i can do this and he is such a happy boy.
Hey thanks the videos are a big help. I will be getting my puppy in 3 weeks I have been trying to find things to help me and him adjust. Your videos are amazing I can tell you have spent some time on all the factors you need to have a cane corso puppy. I will continue to watch and learn. I just want to be able to give him the structure and training he needs
Just got my 3rd Presa. We have a frenchie puppy as well. I'm experienced in dog behavior, but these videos are amazing. Good reminders for me. Thank you! ❤
Hey Jason, my husband and I just got given the gift of 2 Cane Corso/German Short Haired Pointer male puppies. The GSP kept beating the male Cane Corso to mama. Their names are Beavis and Butt-Head 3 months old. Definitely very smart and excited to learn more about this breed with my husband.
I also speak dog! We have a 10 month old suspected CaneCorso rescue. She joins our pack as the baby and was picked up as a stray about 4 months ago. She wines a lot. But we are getting there.
i’ve been speaking dog to my young cane corso puppy and he just barks at me and tries to bite in a playful way lol, such a great breed he’s so little for now yet he’s still pretty smart. lots of playful energy and he already knows to let me know to use the bathroom outside
For new owners in Florida. When it comes to housing such as apartments, Corso’s will not be welcomed. They are considered a restricted breed for Florida apartments. However, there is leeway for Corso’s as emotional support animals. With that being said they have to be endorsed by a licensed therapist. Not just registered but endorsed. Apartments will ask for that during pre screen. Also, everything in this video is spot on. Additionally, I can not stress socializing! Dog parks ! Walking where there is people and use prong collars. Hey Jason... Awesome video with a plethora of information. Also, your e book is a great resource and a very easy read. If you have not done so already, can you provide some information on how to keep a new puppy off of furniture and any other suggestions on how to "train" them to no chew on furniture other than keeping a proper visual on them when they are young. Also, can you expand more on crate training and specifically crate training a puppy that may have high separation anxiety. I have read some post on Corso Social Media sites where some owners were having a very hard time with separation anxiety and crate training. As future owners of a Corso ourselves, we are trying to prepare as much as possible so that our dog will be as well behaved as Bruce and JJ. Thanks, Eric, Dallas, TX
My only consern with getting a cane corso is my ability to handle the change. I know I'll be able and ready but the change will be a massive impact. (I have autism so changes are always super hard)
I love the Corso breed and the info you provide super helpful. My sister has a Corso, and she is adorable. I've had several breeds of dog,but I'm looking to getting a Presa, does the training you've given BW&JJ carry over to this breed?

Agree with everything except socializing by 12 weeks to risky, im not bringing my pup around people until the 16 week mark final set of shots, risk of parvo is to high
I’m curious, what are your thoughts on constructing a “puppy apartment“ for your puppy for the first few months? We did this with our French bulldog, of course, she is much smaller than a cane Corso, but it worked great for her. It allowed me the ability to be sure that I could keep a schedule with her feeding, sleeping, potty times, etc.
I do not have a Cane Corso but I want one but I have pitbulls right now and the biggest thing that I was concerned about whenever I brought my mom's new pitbull puppy into our house is that my male pitbull is dog aggressive and I was afraid he would hurt her that is exact opposite my mom's little Pitbull she is so strong she kicks his ass I also want to add that these were some pretty good tips😊
Hey Jason, Been watching a few of your videos and seen where you point to the WA academy for training materials. Which would you suggest to get from him? I see you list from this video but seems like that is a list most of his classes.
not me, i own a cane corso, rescued at 10months old and now he's good as gold, he's now w, asking for a family friend who has recently rescued another cane corso (UK) at at 4 months old, i understand every cane corso is different and every dog is different with temperament but just wanted to know how to deal with socialisation and correction to low level reactivity to dogs, and how to get them to be a very sociable and valued member of the community and how their cane corso puppy can be the best lapdog ( as they all think they are) and best obedient and well trained boy to set up him up for success, TIA
i’ve had my corso pup for 2 weeks now . he’s 8 weeks and is still in the process of getting caught up with his vaccinations. My question is what is the best way to socialize him until he is fully caught up with his vaccines . Would a traveling crate bag be good as to where o can take him in grocery stores?
Hopefully getting our corso pup by the end of the month. Thank you so much for these videos. Is there a video on brushing their teeth? If so, where can I find it? thanks.
I just got a cane corso and want to do the best I possibly can training and raising her! Her name is Athena, i work construction and am a business owner and am only home late on weekdays and then free on most weekends, my wife gets easily irritated by the crying when she’s in the cage but maybe I’m doing something wrong. During the day should I tell my wife to let her out and play as long as Athena is visible and in her sight? Or should she be in the crate and only let out to play for a bit and use bathroom and eat and drink water? Also any videos or tips on training commands?

I have read that a Corso needs an owner who is strict and must train the dog properly irrespective or the Corso will become aggressive. What pointers can you give me?
I brought my puppy home one month ago, he’s 2.5 months now and growing nicely but he has this habit to grab and pull my pants and not let go, bite my legs and hands in play also, face sometimes.. nothing really works to make him to stop and now I’m buying skirts, but I have scratches which get more and more and considering how big he’ll get this will get dangerous provided I don’t stop the behavior. Any idea?
We are thinking about getting Cane Corso as we are going to move to a place with load of land and we would need a gurd dog knowing that Corso it’s a good guard dog, we have two small dogs Cavapoo and 3 cats, how they are with small dogs obviously we know training and social interaction are very important but just from your own experience is it ok to have Cane with small dogs. Thank you
As long as the small dogs are good with big dogs..... remember your getting a puppy .....they are very adaptable. It's the ones you already have you need to question.
Currently about to start law school working a full time job and living w my parents still. I wanted to buy a cane corso from a buddy I realized right now is not the time for me to have a cane corso 😢😢😢
I really, really want to know where you bought your puppy! I usually look for it on Facebook, but I have encountered many scammers. Fortunately, I didn’t lose any money, but I really almost had to pay him! Another reason is that I don't want to choose just by photos and videos, I want to see my future partners, friends and family members! If you could share some information about responsible breeders, I would be very, very grateful! Thanks!
Hello, you have beautiful cane corso family members. ❤. I’m looking for a cane corso family member. Are you willing to share information about where you got your family members from? 🙏🏽
I’ve been watching your videos for a year. I want to get a cane corso and I have the ability to train him, I’m just worried because I have 2 cats already. Anyone have advice on this
I have two corso boys , we are diet them but I’ve found going to the grocery store being wayyyy to expensive.. anyone know where I can buy things in bulk worth it being expensive?? It’s never enough!!
We bought a male cane corso, a few years ago, while already having a French bulldog female. She is very well trained, I worked very hard in it, however I wasn’t able to change her behaviour towards our corso. He was dominating him, and controlling everything he did. Later on he had to be euthanised due a serious heart condition, which was very hard for us. This was very traumatic for me and my husband. Now we are waiting for a female corso and we’ll get her in about 3-4 month. I’m scared that my French will bully her…
I brought home a 10 week old boy... I have an adult rottie and she was growling at him 😭 how do I go about this?? We have 2 small children and 2 shih tzus as well...
The only concern I would have is making sure that my cane Corso doesn’t end up, thinking he or she is dominant. I don’t think that would happen because I’ve owned many many dogs in my life and all of them have been great, but this is such a powerful breed if that did happen, it could get very concerning.
Getting our corso pup in 3 weeks THANK YOU! Been following you for a long time I’ve learned so much from you guys!
Congrats on the upcoming pup!
How has it been since you got your Corso puppy? Any updates?
Up date??

0:42 permission from my mom 😢
I got 2 more days to tell my mom before picking up my dog
I’ve been watching your videos for a year. I want to get a cane corso and I have the ability to train him, I’m just worried because I have 2 cats already. Anyone have advice on this
I have 3 cats how do I train him that's its ok to trust
Biggest concern- introduction to older dog (staffordshire)
I have two corso boys , we are diet them but I’ve found going to the grocery store being wayyyy to expensive.. anyone know where I can buy things in bulk worth it being expensive?? It’s never enough!!
My biggest concern is chewing and what is acceptable toys for huge a powerful animal.
I’m scared that my French will bully her…
What age did you get your pups and what age would you recommend
I brought home a 10 week old boy... I have an adult rottie and she was growling at him 😭 how do I go about this?? We have 2 small children and 2 shih tzus as well...
Why did you dock the tail and ears?
The only concern I would have is making sure that my cane Corso doesn’t end up, thinking he or she is dominant. I don’t think that would happen because I’ve owned many many dogs in my life and all of them have been great, but this is such a powerful breed if that did happen, it could get very concerning.
I'd love to have 1 but with a lot of videos saying they can be aggressive has me weary...Any advice?
