I mounted a Factory Fox Float X in my Master. I love it, but the install was very far from easy or cheap. Ride is very plush now without the bottom outs. I posted 2 videos with results.
I sure hope they get one to you because I watch you more than anyone...I can't even watch that wrong way dude. I have tried several times but I always come back here. I'm pulling for ya hommy.
My mods: Fox Float DPS EVOL (360 PSI) .95 volume reducer for the shock. Custom linkage for suspension Removed trolly handle Clark fairings CPX pads Kenda knobby (from Sherman MAX) Custom LED lights I've set plenty of times better than SurRons on Strava. I'll see you on this thing in Apple Valley!

Well to be honest you need to show both sides and what people will or can expect if they ride a certain way. I rather see 1000 mile master than a 1 mile master. Want to know what to expect. I do understand showing shiny new and yes if your a conservative rider then shiny new it is but more people in my opinion want to see a broke in one and what it took to Annihilate it... just my opinion.. GINORMOUS fan of your channel keep up the good work. You are definitely my go to for euc... I think the S22 with the slider power and range would be a nice marriage. Too bad these companies don't do a collaboration.... I would love to design my own... everyone seems to want the same thing. Asthetics suspension speed range durability good lighting... I say everyone get together the heck with China and let's make a phenomenal wheel lol...
Dang that's a big statement. The way you glow when riding the s22 and all the reviews you could tell you were stoked about it. But let's face it, euc are like chips it's impossible to have only one.
Blew the suspension? I'm 195 lbs and only want to do street riding. The air suspension is so bad a speed bump could break it? One guy recommended pumping it to 395 psi. I might do 375 psi since he had a lot of creeking sounds.
Not really true, you can buy a brand new RS for 2000 euro at least (plus 200 for spiked pedals that are included in the Master) while a brand new master will cost 2400 euro. I don't know the exact change in USD, but anyway the difference is narrow
I mean, if it's able to be beaten up that bad in a month or 2 to where you don't even wanna ride it then how can that be recommended as a good purchase?
For none of these wheels you receive the value you paid for. They are overpriced with an enthusiasm tax. (between 300€/$ - 1000€/$, depending on the size of the wheel).
While you might be able to infer something about the reliability of a rest wheel that has been passed around a lot, in all fairness you cannot necessarily infer much. People can be hard on a wheel they don't own, and truthfully, testing sometimes involves going to extremes that the average rider might never get to.
@@lgwallable I don't draw my conclusions starting from a demo wheel that has been passed around a lot, but from videos, comments, or direct impressions of actual owners. All owners I talked to, agree that these wheels are overpriced. Not to speak about non-owners, regular people, who were stopping me on my path to ask questions about my wheel (speed, range, difficulty to learn), being very interested until they heard the price: the look on their eyes and the words out of theirs mouths -> OVERPRICED (and I had a small wheel: V5f 700€). Every time, I tried to defend EUCs, speaking about advantages they offer. Now I understand, it was my enthusiasm, that was trying to defend the price. Like I was a devoted member of a cult. Disclaimer: I am not Chinese. I have no ties with any EUC Chinese company or western reseller. I have no relative, friends, or anyone else working to, or tied to someone selling these things. If I buy one, I do it with my own earned money, with no special discounts, and with the normal warranty, no special treatment. When you defend the prices of these EUCs, you should make a similar honest Disclaimer. If you are in the same category as me and continue to sustain that EUCs are not overpriced, you are an enthusiast who needs ASAP to wake up. You are not a seller/reseller. You are a customer. You should see your own interest. And don’t give me that fair play crap. We can see how much fair play these companies have, when you need theirs warranty, or judging by the cheap materials and poor batteries they use. The arguments that you use in your last sentence: “people can be hard on a wheel they don’t own” and “testing sometimes involves going to extremes that the average rider might never get to”, are a direct pull-down from the seller’s manual. This is exactly what they would say to push the sales despite obvious flaws combined with high prices. How I said: Judging from the cheap materials used, cheap batteries (fire prone Chinese LG M50T/LT), lack of waterproofing and protection of EUC and especially of batteries (exception V12, Sherman), EUCs are overpriced by an “enthusiasm” fee between 300€/$ - 1000€/$ depending on the size and suspension/non-suspension. Note: After almost 10 years from apparition of first EUC, the “enthusiasms” fee became “we (Chinese) know you are stupid” fee.
Don't get me wrong... I think EUCs are overpriced, particularly for the quality that we are enduring these days. The customers are doing product testing. That is a fact and it is unacceptable. I merely was saying that these wheels that end up in these videos are passed around, so we have to be fair with that. But that being said, actual individual customers are being impacted by MOSFET issues and durability issues that are not acceptable.

Great video, Chooch. I think it would be great to see a wheel come out that took the best aspects of both wheels and made it into one.
The V13!!!! Maybe

on the RS and just go for the Master.
