So awesome!! Also i don't want to pay disposition fee or other unnecessary fees. Is it better to trade in my vehicle since it has only 1/2 miles than what allowed and in great condition? I am planning to purchase a vehicle this time instead of leasing.. I am wondering if trading in is better

Is the manufacturer charging less to fix the car the case for all car brands? Like VW for instant?

Ari, Thanks. Do you recommend get a pre inspection from the dealer I leased my vehicle? Or other body shop? My lexus dealership asked me to schedule preinspection before returning.. also what are the ways to avoid unnecessary fees. I hate to pay extra. My car has wear and tear warranty from the dealership.. I only used 1/2 miles of my allowed annual mileage. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I was told that due to COVID that they (AutoVin) are not doing the pre inspections at this time.

My lease will be coming to maturity in the next month or so. The third party inspection party said I qualified for a non inspection. Should I take them up on their offer or still conduct the inspection?!

When requesting the buy out to sell it to a third party, can you request it without the additional sales tax?

When you get the bill, can they put the amount on your credit report?

From my experience no. (I leased Audi’s). They send you a bill. Give you like 90 days to pay it. They’ll keep sending bills. Then if you don’t pay it they send it to a collection agency. You wait for them to send you a notice and call them right away and settle for less. If you let it sit with the collection agency for 30 days then yes, it’s reported to your credit bureaus.

Or you could break the infinite debt of owning a car and buy then pay off a car and keep it another 6 years while placing your old car payment into an account for your next car. Buy a car you can actually afford, pay it off in 3 or 4 years, keep it for 10 total years and repeat. I'll admit leasing (renting) a car allows you to drive a car you can't really afford but you are committing to continual debt. This does mean you have to buy a car that doesn't have continual repair bills after the warrantee is gone and not buying a direct injected engine but there are options. Toyota is your best bet since their engines are both direct injected and port injected. I understand Toyota doesn't make sexy cars so you have to divorce yourself from the "my car defines me" mind set. You define you, not the way you decide how to get from here to there.

Good lesson for people that don't have any money. For those of us that are successful, we prefer to drive reasonably new cars and not live like paupers
