Canyon Meets Oslo: Family Unites After 38 Days in NICU | Keeping Families Close

In February, Courtney and her wife Rebecca rushed to Cohen Children's Medical Center because their baby boy was about to be born. Ten weeks before his due date, Oslo made his debut. Though stress, fear, and uncertainty swirled around them, Rebecca, Courtney and their 5-year-old son, Canyon, were able to stay together at the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park where they received housing, meals, and 24/7 support at no cost. Throughout their month-long stay, Courtney and Rebecca were able to visit Oslo every 2-3 -hours in the NICU to feed and bond with her baby who got stronger every day. We are so grateful to capture the beautiful moment when Canyon meets his baby brother for the first time.
