Pete is the shorter one and Bas is the taller one with the deeper voice. From what others have said, they are associated with OG gangsters in the U.K.. They write all their own stuff, but use help from their grandkids to stay on-point with the slang and other more modern terms.
So far the gangster story is just that, a story. While they have both spent time in prison (bar fights I believe) without them confirming the O.G. thing we have to take that with a HUGE grain of salt. However, they have said they do write their own stuff with the help of grandkids and other rappers they feature with.
Legend has it that they're legit but have their grandchildren help with modern lingo. I've also heard that they take a lot of takes to get exactly what they want but that might just be for certain complex bars (and a lot of other artists make many takes too)
