    Nice video, man. I have to say that i really appreciate your work and the effort you put in realising these videos. You helped me a lot throughout my progress in freestyle ice skating. Also, can you please give some tips on stopping on the inside edge?

      Thanks. I don't think I have anything extra since I made the stops tutorial.Do it from a curve first and be patient, that's all.

    Still the best tutorials! Would absolutely live to see a breakdown of (sorry, don’t know what it’s called.) It was like an inverted swipe, or perhaps a one-hand handspring. I saw you do it in slow-mo on Instagram; super sick trick!
    What I like best about freestyle on ice or inline is the opportunity to really look deep down inside yourself and knowing there are no limits to styles and tricks. For those starting out or have some skills under their belt... freestyle is like anything else... It’s countless hours of dedication, experience and even calculated experimentation that makes us better skaters.
    Keep up the fantastic work... cheers and here’s to another great winter!

      True! It's a lot of experimentation before I figure out what works and why. I call that trick you mentioned "circle handflip", it's coming around the end of Dec or early Jan.

    Are these possible in figure skates

    I`m learing backward ground touch right now. I was trying different hand placement on ice (more forward or back compared to the rest of the body). Conclusion is that you shouldn't put your hand too much forward (direction of movement). In case of slipping the first thing to hit the ice will be your head. I didn`t think of it beforehand, gotta say not a pleasant experience. This is pretty much the only dangerous accident that can happen when trying this trick out.

    Do a spray tutorial
    How to spray more ice while stopping

    • @NagyerdeiKorisok
      @NagyerdeiKorisok  7 лет назад +4

      Just go a little bit faster and push down your skates

    • @JankovicCreative
      @JankovicCreative 6 лет назад

      Did it. Sprayed over friends head. But i cant do it every time,maybe because my legs get tired. Btw,i have bauer supreme s140 and 20mm sharp. I feel like i need stiffer boot. And im thinking about buying vapor this time. Probably x500,because it has that trigger system. I dont think i need stiffer boot than x500. And one more question,if the hollow is deeper,does it mean that more ice will be sprayed?

    • @jeykkk
      @jeykkk 6 лет назад +1

      yo I had the same issue and went from s140 to x500's and it was the best decision I ever made. I encourage everyone with the s140's to do the same thing; the boot is not stiff enough on them. You can pinch the outer walls of the boot together with one hand. I had to relearn some things to adjust to the stance of the vapor boots, but it was much better after a couple of weeks

      Hi. I made a tutorial on choosing skates.
      ruclips.net/video/fLulTW6NaAo/видео.html
      Whatever I use it totally useless information for others, because each skate model fits a different foot shape.

      More speed + push your leg down to the ground, not just forward, down too. Spray pretty much comes with practice, so just do it regularly. With experience you can tilt into a better angle and do it from higher speed.

  • @DoubleshotOI

    I remember someone did this at the rink when I was little and put too much weight on his ankle and everyone heard a loud crack. Made me scared to go skating for a while after that.

    • @NagyerdeiKorisok
      @NagyerdeiKorisok  7 лет назад

      That's scary but that shouldn't just happen. Even if you fall on your wrist it just doesn't break that easily. Especially your ankle is protected by your skate, if you wear properly fitting skates it shouldn't break.

      Az csak annyi igazából, hogy az előrét az egyik irányba kell csinálni (én balra, a gyengébbik irányom), a hátrát pedig az erősebb irányba. Ha mind2 irányba megy, akkor gyakorlatilag az átugrás már semmi
