I used to be a stylist before I decided to specialize in nails. However, I never dealt much with platinum blonde. I decided to go blonde, but my stylist had difficulty getting my regrowth to lighten enough, so there would be a gold tone to it. Is it possible that we have to bleach it longer or multiple times?

HELP!!! Thank you so much for that video. I spent hours watching videos in preparation as I usually dye my hair with #384 Dark & Lovely. I decided to go platinum as I had about 7inches of salt and pepper hair. I lifted it twice (deep conditioner and leave-in over the two week period) The second lift was a BEAUTIFUL blonde, but as I wanted a different look, I didn’t keep it. I was also scared lifting it a third time might be too much. I added the T18 and the final look was disappointing. The roots look only slightly white and the ends are still a bit blonde. Now I am stuck as to what to do. That’s why I used a boxed colour before. It was so much simpler. Do I lift the entire head and apply the T18 again? Is Shimmering Lights recommended? Please help!!!!! Thank you in advance.
I bleached about two weeks ago and did a second bleach the same day and I could last 10 mins. Had to wash it out, I used wella as well but with a 10 and it’s well orange. Mom mother did the same but she didn’t feeling any discomfort so her second bleaching went fine. Some of her hair fell out but that could easily be the covid side effects she’s been experiencing way before she bleached. I’m inclined to think that’s it because hair only fell from her edges because she wasn’t consistently grown hair there since before she got sick

Ok question I did a relaxer but it's been roughly 3months now and its length when I pull it down my forehead it lands of the level of the corner of my eyes. I'm chopping my hair to get waves bc I decided I don't want to grow out my hair anymore to my waist how I had it. Would it still be a bad idea since I'm chopping it or do you recommend waiting it out still to bleach it?
+Linda May as long as youvwsit a few days in between it should be fine. If it tingles or burns when u first apply, rinse it off and wait longer. Your hair and scalp have to get back balanced as far as it’s ph levels go. Just be extra careful 😁
I had black dye in and bleached it last night. The sides are a nice blonde (shaved sides with little curls on top) but the top is very brassy, what do I do next? I was gonna bleach it again in a few days
+breeya gandy if it were me I would lift it again then tone it. But make sure it’s light enough to tone or it’ll have a green cast to it. I would definitely keep an eye on the overall health of your hair as well when you bleach the second time 😘 if you hv more questions please feel free to ask 😊
Sweetie you should never brush your hair after applying chemicals as soothing as it may feel because like most who use perms for example that new growth itches & after a fresh perm you want to dig so deep in your scalp you could dig a hole lol but Don’t Do It! You’ll regret it when your hair falls out!

Ms Bwells no it might make it lighter but not platinum in one step it takes multiple steps to get platinum your better off just using regular bleach and getting a developer 20,30,or 40 developer

I had dyed my hair black with dark and lovely a few months ago and.descided to go blonde like.a 27 color..i didnt know i had.to strip the black dye before i bleached it..so i used loreal hicolor in golden blonde i think and it turned my roots.yellow and ends orangy and brown..i bleached it with 40 vol and it turned my roots blonderand ends more orange..went back and box dyed it with textured tones in light blonde something and it turned my ends like a bright orange..all within one week..i wish i can show you but what do i need to do now??ive been wearing this bonnet all week.. I dont want to go back dark...i just wanted to be blonde😭😟..i dont care what shade blonde..just blonde...PLEEAASE respond...PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

20 is 2 levels of lift..30 is 3 and 40 is 4 and so on. 10 deposits color so you wouldn’t use that to lift.
