My first mistake when purchasing was going a little too small. I bought an Agco ST35 (compact), which had plenty of power for its size, but wasn't heavy enough to do the work I asked of it (20+ acres property maintenance/farm) or wide enough for the hillsides I operate on. My second mistake was buying a tractor with R4 tires when I'm always on a trail or in a field. R1 is the tire to use unless you're spending most of the time in the yard or hard surface. I now have a Massey 2607H and LOVE IT. I closely considered the Kubota M7060 but the Massey just fit closer to what I wanted. I definitely respect the Kubota brand, and think you brought up some awesome points. Great video. Very well done! Keep up the good work!
I'm in the research portion of tractor selection and two very important mistake topics that I've repeatedly read about are under buying the size of a tractor and proper tractor Ballasting. Both will put the equipment, and more importantly you, in danger if not addressed!
Thanks for the useful information. I am a new owner of a BX 23S and I am delighted with it. I have read the user manual twice and I couldn't find out how to lower the seat after raising it; the manual often leaves things out, or worse have statements like, "ensure that the 'x' is secure". What is secure? Qualitative not quantitative statements are nearly useless. Thanks for the video
Lots of good info! The PTO kill switch got me once while filming. I knew that the PTO lever would do that, but I didn't think about it at first and I was stumped for about 5 minutes. LOL
You should set up a weight on the ground and do an FEL safety video about loads, traveling loaded and lifting height while loaded.this is where new owners really screw up.
Got the wrong tires and wheels, got the r-4 tires and they have bad traction. The ag tires and adjustable wheels are what's needed if you live in snow country.Glad I didn't get the HST tranny. The HST whines it's guts out also.
Sorry buddy, but if you aren`t running the backhoe sticks, it is not going to effect any of the other hydraulics while running the tractor. So you are giving false information. And if you unhook the BH hoses, your out riggers will drop slowly. Then you`ll be hooking the hoses back up to raise the out riggers back up into their home position.
Thanks everyone for watching! Leave a comment down below if there is anything else you have come across.

I've decided that the b2601 is the unit for me. Bucket, backhoe, mower deck and forks should cover all the bases for me. How much $ please.
Biggest mistake for me was going too small in size and having buyers remorse right away.
High is Highway speed
M is Mowing your Grass
Low Slowing speed for picking up dart
Also, you can use you 4x4 any time. Part time or Full Time

Yes it whines , if your r.p.m. is too low and, or in to high a gear range .

Thanks for commenting Larry! We wouldn’t have included it if it doesn’t happen here!
