There are so many different ways to make this bracelet! You can make it narrow or wide. Use a color pattern or do it all in a single bead. I've made it with seven different types of two-hole beads so far!
SuperDuos
MiniDuos
Bar beads
Brick beads
Rulla beads
Half Tilas
Quarter Tilas
You can find many of those beads, and all the rest of the supplies needed at:

Sometimes it just takes that one person to watch and you get it! You are that person I’ve watched other videos and didn’t understand now I do! Super duos are one of my favorite beads thank you Jill Wiseman
YAY!!! I know it's not a new concept out there, but I always like to see if my way of teaching it helps new folks!
Thank you so much for your rapid response. Jill, please keep doing what your doing, you have so much talent and I love watching your video's, you explain things in great details and that's what I need. I have watched several videos on this design and you are the first on that I have been able to follow along with and understand what your doing. Thank you so much. God Bless.
Thank you once again, Jill, for showing us how to complete a delightful bead weaving project! You explained the process so well and completely. The colorways are so pretty.
You’re back-yay!!!!!! I’ve been re-watching old videos to get my Jill fix! Glad you are back, and I hope more videos will be coming.
OMG, perfect timing. I've just bought some half tilas at a Beading Fair and been struggling to follow other peoples blurry vids on how to do this weave. Thank you for doing this tutorial and making it so clear and concise. I can't wait to see the other projects you create using this technique.
Have been making these for years, its one of my fave casual bracelets. Thanks for the refresher course jill!!!
Thank you Jill. I’ve made a couple of these with brick beads and love the effect. I find getting started is the trickiest part of the project. I stitched a peyote clasp for each of mine.
I did this bracelet about a year ago using two 11/0's throughout the bracelet and 2 15/0s to hide the thread. It is awesome and you are the best teacher! Thank you for your dedication to beading!
Your written instructions are so much easier to follow than a lot of others on the Internet. Thank you. I was struggling to learn the Herringbone stitch with Superduos. Now I can create to my hearts content!!
I have made about 4 of these lovely's. LOVE THEM! I had to redo the first 3 rows over again a few times till I finally "Got it" the light went on in my brain! Thank you so much Jill!
Love this bracelet. I can't wait to make it. Thank you for being so informative and giving us multiple options. 🦋
Thank you for more projects. I have missed you. Love this pattern.
Thank you very much jill. Love the breaclet. Glad to see you!! Lots of hugs from Georgia.🤗
I really like that !!! SuperDuo's are one of my favorite !!! Thank's Jill !!!
Hands down the best superduo herringbone video!
Definitely on my to do list. I love wire guardians, and find inserting a superduo between it and the seed beads holds everything just right.
This is the best tutorial on 2-holed herringbone that I've seen. It's been a while since I've beaded (2.5 years) cuz we moved, but from what I remember, I shied away from doing this technique, because I wasn't able to follow other RUclipsrs' tuts. Your explanation helped a great deal. Thank you for indulging your followers and fans. And thank you for pointing out that I'm in charge, not the beads. Love that!
Clear-cut directions! Thank you, Jill! 💙
Can't wait to make this bracelet. Your tutorial is so much easier then any of the others I've seen. Thank you!
Thank you, Jill!! I miss these videos! 💜
Thank you so much, Jill, for this excellent video--and also for providing a free PDF of the instructions. This bracelet is definitely on my to do list.
Live love love this! Thank you for sharing this great pattern using your amazing talent!
Jill, you are a great teacher and I want to thank you for sharing your talent!
Your tutorial for this is so much easier to follow than another one I watched. Thank you!
Thanks Jill for sharing your creative inspiration and making the seemingly complex accessible even to beginner beaders! :-)
Was struggling to learn this stitch....until I watched your video. Simple and clear instructions with great tips. Thank you! I’m already addicted to it!
Hi Jill I just love your videos. I love doing the herringbone stitch and this adds a new dimension. The explanation is so clear and easy to follow. Very inspiring. Thanks so much.
Just started beading this week and your videos are by far the easiest to understand. Made five bracelets using your videos this week. Kudos,💯❤️❤️
That's gorgeous, Jill. Very art deco.💖
I have been beading for 40 years, had Jill been teaching when I started, I would have been the zoomie Queen! LOVE Jill's videos..now she needs to start an 'advanced class'.
Thank you Ms. Jill! I made a half-tila version and its pretty slick looking! Going to try this with superduos , it seems to have more texture. Different looks, both beautiful!
i so enjoy your tutorials, Jill Wiseman!! Looking forward to making more beautiful beaded jewelry by following your wonderful tutorials! blessings to you and your family!
Thank you, Jill! Great project.
LOVE IT LOVE T LOVE IT!! YOU ARE THE BEST AT EXPLAINING!! TFS!!
Woohoo!! Thank you!!! I love it!! Getting my beads together now!!!
Oh how fun!! Thank you for sharing this with us! 💜
Thank you I was looking for a simple pattern to give as a gift This is perfect. Your instructions are wonderful
You are such a calming presence , clear easy directions , I enjoy all your videos
Love this bracelet, thanks for all the great patterns and videos.
NOW I understand how to do this. I was just able to make one of these after watching this. Thanks.
I was thrilled to see a new video from you Jill! I cannot wait to make this, Ive never done herringbone before...thank you for sharing!
Love your videos! Instructions are so clear and precise. Thank you
First couple of rows are tricky if you let it get twisted but after that it's such a simple process and looks amazing.............can see myself making heaps of different versions of this one..........thanks Jill
This is so well explained! And of course, "Sticky outie!"
Great video. Thanks! I started a bracelet using this stitch, and now can’t wait till it’s done. I was not afraid if the first few rows being “wonky” because you explained it so beautifully!
You have given me so much inspiration! You are a really good teacher. I had some SuperDuos left over from another project and thought I would try this, thinking it would take a while to figure out. Your instructions are so clear, I got it on my first try! Now I have to go buy some more beads! Thanks for all the hard work you put in to doing these videos for us!
What wonderful instructions! You are super, and I can't wait to try this beautiful bracelet!
I love this demonstration!! I have to try this. So simple and elegant yet cool enough for casual. Really love the two tone. I made a bracelet with the color of your fall colored bracelet. It was with the two holed hexagon beads. Similar and so pretty. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the others you make.
Wonderful pattern. Thanks Jill for sharing
Made my duo bracelet in 1 night! Great instructions TY
Small picture top left corner. We get bird eye view of your fantastic instructions. Genius! Just Genius!!!
I have wanted to learn how to do this for a long time. I have tried to figure out other's instructions and they did not make sense to me. YOURS make sense. You are a champ at explaining things.
'
Thank you, Jill!
Jill, These videos are fabulous! I always loved your classes at the bead show this is a close second!
THank you so much for your clean and concise demo and explanation. Tried this 4 times with anothers instruction (which was ok and well done but my fat fingers and misunderstanding, almost drove me crazy). With your nice instructions....Success!!!!
Beautiful !! Thank you for another awesome turorial ..
Love the 2 strand blue and silver!
Thanks for doing this video! I enjoyed making this bracelet. I'm pretty new to bead weaving and it took me about 5 or 6 tries at the beginning to get it. I kept backing up this video over and over because it just wasn't going right. I didn't know what I was doing wrong. Then all of a sudden, I got it! I was doing the turnarounds wrong of course. I think once you get those turnarounds this is so easy! I made a beautiful silver, blue and green bracelet! It does use a lot of beads though. I think I must have used almost 5 grams of each color of superduos for a 6" bracelet. I made it shorter than my actual wrist size to allow for the clasp.
Thank you so much Jill, great tutorial as usual :)
On my. I'm in Cyprus for 2weeks on holiday enjoying looking at all your videos in peace. But now I can't wait to get home to get my beads out again.😘
Diane Gardner Cyprus!! Dreamy!! Have an awesome trip!!
i love your videos & I was so excited by this one. I ordered the super duo's & when I got them I could not believe how tiny they were, they look so big under a magnifier.
I made one of these and I started with three rows of regular herringbone and did the same on the other end. It was so much easier for me to wrap my head around. Also made for a “cleaner” clasp. This is sone of my favourite designs. It is elegant no matter what bead you use.
Great idea!!
Thank you Jill. I have to try this asap
Thanks Jill - After a couple of redos, I got it!
OH my word thank you so much for this design .... I thought it was too hard for me when I saw it however you have made the steps so clear ... Guess what I have on my beading mat ... xx
Beautiful!
Just what I was looking for! Thank you Jill you always explain things perfectly :-)
Hi jill this is very pretty thanks. Herringbonde srich with 2 hole beads
❤

as always beatiful bead work - very innovative.
I missed you, I love your videos.
Finalmente un tutorial con i sottotitoli in italiano GRAZIEEEEEEEE
Yay a new video !! Can’t wait to make it
I haven't tried using 2 hole beads. This looks like an easy project with beautiful results. I see Christmas gifts! Thank you!
Thank you once again, Jill. We (you & I) will be doing one or 2 later on today. I am eager. ;)
Beautiful bracelet in super duo beads !!! I love this color !!! 🤩 I Also love your blue bracelet although it is not my favorite bracelet . Thank you for the transcription written in french. I love your vidéos.🥰
I love your proyecta! I am going to do it right now
I have been struggling with the "Skinny 2-hole Herringbone" bracelet when I put it down for weeks, then can't remember how the heck to do it! Thank you for the supplemental instructions just for this bracelet. I have hope now ;>
Wow can't wait to try this.. TFS...
Jill, thank you so much for this tutorial, have just finished my bracelet, and of course could not wait to wear it. So comfortable sits beautifully on the wrist and so flexible a joy to wear.
Love it
Thank you! I tried this once and failed completely, but you explains it very clear!
Love the necklace you are wearing.
Great video.
Wow long time no see! Welcome back :D
I would love a kit for this!! I caught you in Marly Bird and immediately subscribed. You create beautiful things!!
Love it thanks.
I love this. I was so afraid I could not learn this.
Whew! thank you Jill. After 6 tries, I finally got it, thanks to your clear explanations. I did find, however, using the beads I had on hand, my size 11 beads did not fully cover the "hole" between the super duos. I had some size 11 triangle beads, which helped to cover the Fireline between the super duos. Or does it bother only me that the Fireline is showing? LOL
Meanwhile, thanks so much for your videos. I just began beading about 6 months ago, using your videos for learning the stitches. You made it easy for a slow learner such as I. I am hoping for more videos from you as time goes on and as your time allows. All the best, Mary
Love yr videos
I love this bracelet, and I love the way you explain them! I have some
2 holes gemduos but I don’t know what to do with them!🤷♀️🙁
Hi Jill, I figured out something after trying several times to get going: if you are going to add the extra beads in the end to hide the thread, you don’t want to do it on first turn; since you going back through the 1st two seed beads, you don’t need the extras. Now things are going good for me!
Thanks for demonstrating how to do this. I love your style of teaching. I think I can try this one. I couldn’t find the eye on my youtube to see the videos for attaching the clasp. Where else can I find them. Please continue to share. It is really helping and teaching me. ❤❤
I bought the beads from you last year or year before. Trying to make the black and white
Wonderful demo. Thank you because I’ve been wanting to try this technique. 😊🌹🌷💜
Such a beautiful pattern. I am stuck at the clasp though. I do have your 4-loop tube clasp but can't for the life of me figure out what beads to attach it to. Even after watching the clasp video you link to here, I still can't figure it out. Would you consider doing a video on how to attach this clasp to this bracelet?
LOVE THIS STITCH! THANK YOU!
Can you please please show us how to do a circular herringbone (like a rope or tube) using 2hole beads? I have seen it made and it's awesome but can not follow the 2 videos I have seen doing it (one is in Spanish and the other one is just impossible to follow)
So happy to see you making new videos. Yours are always so clear and easy to follow. I've already made 2 bracelets following this video. Thank you! Oh one more thing I made one using cali beads and it is gorgeous.
Valerie Fanning I’m on it! 😁
Thank you so much for this - beautiful pattern and such clear instructions.
Genial genial genial
Thank you so much, what are the beads around your neck.
Thank you, as always so very clear! I saw a FB post where the lady had made a necklace with a narrower band. The design / stitch looked very similar. I assume this is possible with a narrower band ( 2 beads instead of 4 ) ?? TKU for your response.
