    The Beaufighters with rockets work the best against merchants and subs. They also have 20mm great for strafing

    Having the corsair aircraft set to top speed increased their turn radius and they couldn't turn with any of those zeros so any time they were trying to line up the zero would just out turn them and get on their 6

    Great episode. Is it possible that giving your fighters orders to attack a single enemy plane throws off their AI or something? Because if not the mod is broken because no way 12 F4U Corsairs would only shoot down 2 zeros.

    You do know that you can physically take control the aircraft in a squadron. This will make your dive bombing and air combat better since you would piloting the lead plane in a squad.

      i'm aware. I prefer not to unless its singles. its really tough to do that in a dog fight.

    Corsairs can turn sharper, but not at maxed out top speed, pegging speed likely messed with the AI’s ability to fight?

    Doesn’t rearming a carrier replace planes if there are enough supplies present in port?

      yes and no. the carrier has to return to port and stay in dry dock for 3 days to replace aircraft. this is an option that can be turned off. i have not done this however.
