I was a vegetarian when I met my husband. My husband pulled me over from the "dark side", in my eating habits & my politics! lol We still make 'Corn Casserole', and 'Cauliflower Casserole' out of the vegetarian cookbooks....but the 'Good Shepherds Pie' now includes ground meat. ;)
I need the shirt, "go put your apron on and get me a sandwich, jd " you need that last part there to avoid any unnecessary plates and pans from flying in your own kitchen... Love you guys

My grandma developed a shell fish allergy as she got older. She loved shrimp, crab, any type of sea food. She would take Benadryl and eat it anyway. My mom would get so mad at her because her face would get puffy and my mom knew she ate shellfish.

I met my wife 17 years ago (married 13 years) and she was the first Vegan I've ever met! I hunt, fish, and enjoy everything outdoors... we're completely opposite and it works, opposites really do attract!!! Uncle Si needs a new book on marriage!

I can’t believe I missed the live. Uncle Si is gonna love this story. I missed the Podcat, cuz I was planting some landscaping plants. We’ve had a good deal of rain for Southwest Kansas, so the worms are plentiful. I dug up a shovel full of dirt & noticed the worms were larger than what I’d seen
But WHOA! Those worms don’t look the same. And what worms have scales? Holy smokes!! Them ain’t no worms🪱 them are snakes 🐍 😱. I’m much worse than Si, I hate snakes & am terrified. We live in rattlesnake country. I only managed to get 1 of them, so I chopped it up
I informed The Old Farmer that WE (emphasis on WE) are going to dig more in that area. I don’t want a huge family of snakes wandering through my yard all summer. Genesis 3:14-15

I have a severe shellfish allergy, and I don't miss it at all because of the anaphylactic shock.
When yall were talking about why you wont eat possum, I agree on that. I used to work on construction equipment in, Memphis, Tennessee. One customer was, City of Memphis, sewer treatment facility. They had several dozers with swamp tracks on them, they had about 100 acre field, they would dump crap on and would use the dozers to spread and pack it. They also had several huge cesspools. It was scenic, right on the bank of the, Mississippi river. Anyway, I was out there one winter, snow on the ground, you couldnt get one more duck in the cesspools, they were packed with ducks, sone of the prettiest green heads I ever saw. I told the guy out there, " yall need some blinds out here."

I went to Opry Land in the early 80’s. They had a petting zoo that had Raccoons that would hit 60 pounds easy. They would probably be 18-24 inches tall on all 4, and probably 36 inches long from head to end of their tail. If Miss Christine had been feeding them cat food that was 100 pounds a week, them I’m on Uncle Si’s side about how big they were.
Si my great grandparents used to eat possum but they would wash it out and feed it for a while and they would also eat raccoon

Growing up I had a blue heeler he was a awesome dog and was born with out a tail. I currently have a red heeler and he was born with out a tail too . Both are awesome dogs
