Any plans to sell the roof panel by itself? I would like to keep my dogs and gear shaded/out of direct weather, but do not want to lose all visibility out of the back. For me, the roof panel and two Molle panels on each side would be perfect, but I wouldn’t opt for it if I had to pay for a complete set when I don’t plan to use 3/4 of the panels. Just my .02 but would imagine others feel the same.
@@TheKuatRacks I second Jacob's request (and I'd dare to bet that others would do), selling just the roof panel would be a great decision. I want to keep my dogs shaded/out of weather, so Ibex with 2 Molle panels, and roof panel would be the winner combination.
Can u place a molle panel outside the panels? Can i still install bike rack to the side without removing the panels? What about the grab handles? I feel like im gonna lose the modularity if i add the panels. At the same time, i want to have the convenience of being to keep stuffs safe from Outside elements and outside items stay outside.
Hi there, these are great questions. Due to the nature of a fully enclosed system, you will lose some of the modularity: The grab handle will not work with the panel kit since the mounting points are concealed by the panel. The Piston SR Mounts are not also not compatible. Right now, we are working on an interior molle panel that would be attached to the inside, but nothing for the outside. Not sure if you are utilizing the crossbar riser kit that we have now, but it's worth noting that using the panel kit will also require a specific Crossbar Riser Kit (not the current one we have on site now). What's with the significant price increase from $1489 to $1898? Kind of a deceitful move. Especially since you've dropped the 2nd gen Tacomas from initial release and pushed back the release from Q2 to Q4.
Hey Jason, Sorry to hear of your frustrations. As we push the Panel Kit through the production process, there have been minor design tweaks that change the timeline as well as material costs. The Panel Kit will be an amazing product to compliment the IBEX and worth the price and the wait.

And another price increase to now $1989! Will definitely be returning my Kuat Ibex. No interest in getting the panel kit anymore or spending my money on any Kuat product.
