This is by far the most informative video I have seen about how to reduce episodes of AFIB. I learned I have AFIB in July and I am still digesting my new reality. I have worked out all my life and have improved my diet over the year. Thank you for sharing so much valuable information.
very lovely person! that's the kind of doctors we need in the world...knowledgeable and caring as well. just watching you made my AFIB go away : ) long life to you!

I call you the cat doctor. There’s always some cat crawling around your area. I watched many of your Covid videos which were helpful, thank you. Actually, your videos are calming. Most of these online doctors are so intense, their mannerism makes you anxious.
Drinking hot coffee and then going outside and breathing cold air especially when I'm in a hurry is a guaranteed method of triggering heart palpitations for me.
Thank you. I have atrium fiblereren for more than 25 years. I found out the food you eat is the trigger. I have a hole list what not to Use and you feel good. Also what you drink.
My aFib started when I contracted Covid 10 weeks ago. I do not fit the norm from your video. I’m 64 on no medications, and active as I’ve been my entire life. BP is 100/60, and resting pulse is 55-60. The only small check mark from you list is stress, but I do meditate and take time for myself daily. Yet, the afib persists with the only side effect being my heart race increases quickly when I exercise, and I have to really tamper my output to keep it from going too high. Any insight would really be appreciated as the last cardiologist just said take a baby aspirin and hope it goes away.
I was diagnosed with low blood volume and a hyperactive vagus nerve in 2005. Although I was on a partial dose (5mg) of a beta blocker, I was weaned off after 5 years. That was in 2010. Since then, I continue with the initial prescription of greatly increasing my salt intake, wearing compression stockings, and trying to limit the amount of caffeine I consume. Have you ever considered doing a video on these conditions?
Almost all of the suggestions in the video for preventing atrial fibrillation apply for preventing premature beats whether there from the ventricle (PVCs) or from the atrium (PACs). I did not specifically mention it in this video but making sure that one's blood work is unremarkable (ruling out thyroid disease, low blood counts, electrolyte disturbances-particularly Magnesium) is important as well. Sometimes a trial of supplemental Magnesium for a month or 2 can be helpful to prevent these premature beats. Many people have subclinical Magnesium deficiency.
I cut down on caffeine. I also take more magnesium, potassium and tsp. Of sea salt. Two weeks ago and no more atrial fibrillation. Hopefully that may help someone?
My husband's a-fib was always triggered by severe indigestion and bloating. He was symptomatic, medications did not work, and he would not have been able to live as a cardiac cripple. We are fairly active people. He became afraid to eat and lost a great deal of weight and muscle mass. It was frightening. We have had amazing success after ablation, with one indigestion episode shortly after the death of his elderly mother. And one other episode following indigestion/bloating. He converted to normal sinus rhythm after 3 days of a-fib, both times, once the indigestion problem resolved. He is very careful with diet but sometimes we all have indigestion in our older years. Thanks for your videos, very informative. I like your calm demeanor and your cats are gorgeous.
What about drinking water? Making sure to drink at least six 8 Oz of water per day? Drinking water prevents palpitations so long term dehydration in combination with obesity, high blood sugar, lack of exercise are ALL contributors! Drinking water ( Clean, filtered from carcinogens & chemicals) is a SIMPLE prevention. If you ask your patients, you will be amazed on how people only “sip” water to take meds and that’s it!!
Dear Doctor. I want to know if taking Pfizer vaccine has any disadvantage for person with AF. Currently on betablocker( concor 2.5mg ) and flecainide acetate (50 mg ) daily once
@@MedicinewithDrMoran thanks doctor. My question is whether having medications like betablocker and antiarrhythmics got any problem while getting vaccinated

Very helpful. I use to faint in church often when young. I think it was from no movement. I also never ate in am. My pressure is Low.

Thank you Dr Moran. I’m going to use the dash diet.
Best of luck!
Thanks doctor. Can you please do the same thing about pvcs/extrasystoles?

I thought this was about the Whippet cookies!😂 (Chocolate covered marshmallow with a graham cookie) - Now I know I’m old!😂😂😂

Thanks for sharing! I have certainly seen cases of atrial fibrillation triggered by acid reflux from a hiatus hernia that compresses the left atrium.
Love the Fury friends.
How about weight in imperial system of measurements. Every d*mn thing is in metrics and I'm getting sick of it.
Thank you ❤

I guess shift work rotating day and nights are not really good either.
Good 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Vaccinations are recommended for people with atrial fibrillation in Canada, US and UK etc.
@@MedicinewithDrMoran thanks doctor.

Pets are most helpful!
Yes they are!
Wonderful health tutorial embellished by cute felines
Those cats are most distracting.
That's what is great about his vids. I thinks the cats distract in an entertaining way and help me further learn from the information he is providing.
My Dr. Retired he would say go for a run when I had stress. My girlfriend is a Dr.she likes to take herbs.
