- This animation is based on a scene in The Twisted Ones (one of FNaF's trilogy of novels) where we get a view inside the chest cavity of a Freddy variant. The models I made myself based on the descriptions you get in the book (there are official designs for the Twisted, but they aren't very much like what is described, even with the hallucinations). There are two versions of the Twisted ones; most fanart shows the groteque-fleshy-monster side of them, while these are meant to be the bare-bones animatronics. The sound effects in this animation are the combined noises from a bicycle, a clunky doorknob, the frantic opening and closing of cabinet drawers, a running shower, and a mattress.

This is the best representation of the twisted animatronics that anyone has ever made.
The twisted animatronics dont actually have furr, meat, or anything you have probably seen on google. They're actually giant spring-lock-like metal suits representing Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy, they also have an "entrance"/chest captivity (like the funtime animatronics and CTW Ft Freddy).
The reason they look like giant monsters is because of a special disk called the "illusion disk", made by William. This disk allows the suits/animatronics, as charlie said, to "overstimulate the brain, making it fill the "gaps" for you", wich means that the disk confuses your brain and forces you to imagine what the animatronic to look like. They do that to appear as less threatening/more friendly versions of themselves and trap people.
The twisted animatronics were not meant to kill anyone using their claws or teeth, but to trap people within their chest captivity like a spring-lock suit and kill them using the spring-locks, that's why in this video we see ourselves trapped within Freddy, and Freddy turning his eyes to look at us from the inside.
And that's why we see each version as a mutated version of the original animatronics, because it's what Charlie, John, Carlton and Jessica see whenever they're affected by the illusion disk.
Yeah. I couldn't understand it when I read the book 4 years ago, I tried to understand but it was too complicated. I learned it after reading the graphic novel.

The whole trapped inside a animatronic concept is already scary enough but then you add the fact that the animatronic literally knows and can LOOK AT YOU at any time it wants makes it truly horrifying.

Fun time freddy did it. He had trapped some girl from the books in his stomach and “killed” her. It was a cliff hanger so we don’t know if she’s dead or not though.

@Elizabeth Cone Can't be Fredbear nor Funtime Freddy, actually none of the cast. It's too clean and metlalic to be a Fredbear suit, and the design is looking way more like Fredbear than Funtime Freddy.

Freddy may think he has you trapped, but in reality you have Freddy trapped because you could just ruin that Freddy's life, I mean tying cloth around its eyes from your tshirt so it can't see, banging for its inside, which idk if it had sensors would hurt.
In The Twisted Ones, those twisted animatronics have springlocks in them. So I don't think it would be possible. One wrong move and you're dead

@@danotae I'm pretty sure they have a endoskeleton which they than put the suits on around them. That's why there's parts and storage room in FNAF 1 top left camera. Which also wonders how Freddy is moving his body without his endo it should be impossible but, considering the fact that the guy who made this forgot about it. It is still cool to imagine what is feels like trapped and could die at any second. That's how purple guy turned into Springtrap. He thought the animatronics were after him because they see humans as just endoskeletons without a suit so when you get caught in the FNAF 1 you die from being crushed to death. So purple guy put on the suit thinking that they will go away. But they didn't, they wanted revenge and purple guy activated the spring locks by constantly sweating thus shows us why animatronics are just trying to help the employees out by doing some of the *WORK* themselves
