- How i became a qualified Chartered Accountant. Working straight out of high school as an articled clerk /apprenticeship in one of the Big 4 firms while studying a graduate and post graduate degree in Accounting with the University of South Africa (UNISA) long distance. Once i qualified i moved from Zimbabwe to Jersey Channel Island and then to Birmingham both in the United Kingdom (UK).

The role has meant that we worked full time at home and this resulted in some audits taking longer than normal. Otherwise all else remained generally the same.

daughter of the Most High God fearing pure Maths is the important one. You don't necessarily have to do accounting to qualify for a CA course but it obviously helps.
Iam 29 and actually considering starting study towards CA in Zimbabwe.. isn't it to late for me to embark on the journey

I believe i sent an application to the HR team directly.
