I was at Anime Expo when this first aired and ppl were literally screaming in joy (especially when Pip & Rip showed up). Got to see Hirano at the interview and he was hilarious. Then I got to see him at Sakuracon. And somehow, SOMEHOW, was one of the 12 ppl to get in to get an autograph & a personalized drawing from him (mine's Young Walter). This manga is simply - godlike.
I love this song, it's a beautiful cover of Marianne Faithfull's original. I have the first DVD from the UK release and it has this promo and song on it.
Recent hit anime are fine and all,but nothing has gotten me so hype and goosebumpy as this trailer alone. Man,rhe excitement of waiting for the next Ultimate was almost equal to the joy of release days. Hellsing was a time in and of itself and I miss the fandom.

He could have been brainwashed but it happened in 1944 if it happened at all. That's what the Dawn's about; the Captain beats down Alu and Walter and Alu runs off, leaving Walter - who either turned traitor or became brainwashed (the point of Dawn. He's the reason the Valentine brothers new how to find the Hellsing mansion in V2. Also, he could have become a vampire prior since Alu says that he can change his own form as he wishes - Walter could simply have wished to appear as if he aged.
I just have to mention that I love the super foreshadowing with Young Walter there at the end. You never expect how things turn out with him...I have to admit when I learned about him I was pretty shocked. Don't know what I mean? You'll just have to go read the manga then! :D Or Ultimate, though I don't know if the anime has caught up w/ the manga yet tbh.

and it amuses me that they probably stuck with this song because of that the major said at one point in the manga. "see the broken english" he says this as the zepelins fly over london unleashing all the v1 bombs breaking houses and bodies. a very fitting song. oh and and millenium has the coolest characters
well possible reasons Alucard changed in girl is propably as a side joke to the situation of Poland at the time and the eventual victory of the Poles (thought under soviets) over the Nazi troops also as a salute for the Polish resistance , this comes from the fact that Polands king Ladislaus II belonger to the Order of the Dragon an elite monarchal group which main purpose was the defense of Christian Europe against Turks , also Polska and Warszawa are both Female in naitive Poland Alucard simply assumed a form that was native to Poland in order to give honors , there was no other real reason
Also Alucard religious motifs as Poland has an eternal queen the Virgin Mary the mother of Jesus, and while he didn't dare to impersonate her he sends an indirect message that the holly virgin will protect the Poles thought is anything but holly this trick was propably intended to give faith to Polish soldiers

By the guestimation based off the months passing in between the other OVA's release,I'm guessing OVA 6 will be out around August maybe.They let em out in Japan between 6 and 8 months. But it's just a guess

Well, these are random scenes, and Pip does indeed make a comeback (of sorts) albeit hes made purely of shadow matter generated from Seras's body, but he does seem to keep his personality regardless since he tells the captain "Thats what ya get for hurting another mans girl, bastard" upon aiding Seras in killing him, he is indeed dead, but theres a copy of him within Seras that retains his mind and personality, which acts on its own, not on Seras's command like Alucards demons.
With only this trailer Satelight showed up that they re superb than other studios. Even better than Madhouse or Graphinica. In my opinion satelight must have continued doing the next ovas and the down

I agree with the rest. I am an officer in the USMC, and I am an avid anime and WoW. Representing from Shattered Hand Horde. That being said never let people try to make you think something is for kids or adults. Something as violent and over the top as Hellsing is hardly a childrens medium.
@sharkrocket12...Actually that's Alucard in his girly form from "Hellsing: The Dawn", which is the prequel manga to Hellsing. You will see "her" again in OVA 10.

I believe you just answered your own question =). He says in The Dawn that whatever form he takes means nothing to him. My theory why he takes on a girl form is 1) to throw off his enemies and 2) fit in better with a young Walter. Or maybe it's cuz he just feels like it.
The Hellsing TV series suffered from the same problem many anime series do - they ran out of source material and made up filler material. This is how Incognito go created and partly why the ending for the TV series was totally bogus - they wrote themselves into a corner making it impossible to go back to following the manga
No, he's always been one - he's been selling out Hellsing's secrets since 1944. Him and Alu fight in Hellsing V9 and he reverts first into Dark!Walter (who's in the trailer) and then to Dawn!Walter. Alu becomes Girlycard too for a bit.
again that's speculation. the dawn hasn't been concluded. and walter helping the valentines has never been confirmed - it has only been hinted. the brainwashing COULD have taken at any time; no one knows the details yet. artificial vampires are incapable of shapeshifting. only real "monsters" like alucard and the werewolf can do that. also, it's stated that walter went through the vampire procedure DURING the siege. however it was rushed which is why he is becoming younger and younger.

Neither was alucard or anderson fighting in the graveyard, its just in there too look cool since this was the video to announce the ova series of hellsing so it had to grab attention.
