I said that we almost had two head coaches, in a way, with KOC and Brian Flores. We also have two GMs in a way, Grigson was once upon a time considered an up and coming NFL GM with the Colts. He had them turning a corner, but he made a some pretty rash decisions that ultimately can ruin a franchise's trajectory, such as trading to pick Trent Richardson.
In this capacity, he doesn't get to make the final call, and Kwesi is a much more careful decision maker, but Grigson does have his input, and we get his expertise specifically in scouting, which is where he made a name for himself.

Going to be bummed we didn’t Mahogany at 177 and Limmer at 203. Mahogany was a consensus top 100 and Limmer was a top 120 . Mahogany especially could’ve come in day 1 and started at LG which will sting.
I get that Rouse is essentially going to be the new Udoh but we really could use more depth and competition at LG.

Levi Drake Rodriguez? Ok. So he's a hard worker? Fine. So, HOW did these guys not even take a SWING at Gabe Hall, Keith Randolph, Myles Murphy, or Fabien Lovett???? Not even for free agent depth??? Sounds like he sold the Vikings on his willingness to work, and that's great. But as mediocre as the Vikings are inside at 5tech and NT, I dont see why they couldn't grab some of these productive young athletes who slid in the draft. The hell with crap loads of free agent WRs, TEs, and undersized centers. If they aren't going to fight for quality, notoriously stout, kids from the college ranks, then how about bringing in QUANTITY??
C'mon man...they got handled in the interior at times. What the Eagles did to them (13 straight run plays) was absolutely EMBARRASSING.
Fine. Another year of mediocre play in the interior of either line of scrimmage.
Please, God, can we get some studs in here with some ELITE traits!?!? And I DON'T mean a short, sub 300 pounder, who runs a great 4.8 40 and gets WASHED on run plays.
If the scouts, KOC, and KAM aren't sure what players that fit the talented 5tech or NT role look like, ask the Patriots, Steelers, and even the 49ers of the past few years.
Basically, some 5techs with length, athleticism, and power, along with a stout NT that can be a tone-setter on the line. Then all these blitzing LBs/CBs/safeties KOC/KAM have been hording will REALLY start to look good..
