Interesting framework. We are in this situation now. We have made a decision to reduce our home and yard size. We also decided to sell 90% of our possessions and buy all new possessions after our new home is completed. We are moving over 1000 miles away. Moving will allow us to retire 7 years earlier due to major reduction in cost of living from the northeast to the south.
