    I enjoyed your video, the first one I have seen posted by you folks. You made the right decision to get out of the bad weather. It's no fun getting beaten up, especially when you can find a good place to shelter. As it turned out you ended up in a very beautiful city/town. Enjoy your travels.

    Another fab video. Really like the balance of sailing and sightseeing and your casual but inclusive style that make me feel like I am along there with you. Respect for going out in 25knots forecast and even more respect for the decision to dock when conditions were worse. Cold, wet, tired and hungry people make poor decisions so good to call it off when you did. Thanks for sharing.

    Boa navegada no mar do norte, não esqueceram de comprar as luvas de pescadores forradas com pelo de foca...elas têm os 4 dedos unidos todos juntos o que da para navegar sem que os dedos fiquem dormentes...Mesmo no verão eu as usava....são impermeáveis também...bancos de areia correntes contra ondas seguidas que não deixam o veleiro se aprontar para próxima onda que lava o todo o deck.....é uns dos piores lugares para se navegar com tempo muito instável...parabéns pelo sucesso da jornada, parem quando estiverem cansados e as tempestades passar da força 6, mas vão embora em poucas horas...andem com o tanque sempre cheio isso evita fazer bolhas nessas ondas seguidas que deixam o barco todo desarrumado...se cuidem bem! Art (veleiro Batatinha)

    Always trust your gut feelings and seek shelter if you are having doubts, the boats from Orust Island (HR, Najad, Vindö and Forgus) are built for rough seas, I grew up there, sailed them and love them, they will bring you all the way to Brazil if you two are up for it.

    • @SVKauana
      @SVKauana  7 лет назад +1

      You forgot the Malö!!!

    • @jonasnyqvist5742
      @jonasnyqvist5742 7 лет назад +1

      And also Sweden Yachts but they were built on Tjörn the Island south of orust. Malö is one of the "Grand Cru" yachts from Orust, not cheap but the best in life never comes cheap.

    • @SVKauana
      @SVKauana  7 лет назад

      Man, I didn´t know Sweden Yachts came from Orust also... And I just checked their website and they have joined together with Vindo, Malo and CR... It´s all one shipyard now!! Wow!!!
