I’m so thankful for this video! I briefly was involved with TLR starting in 2017. I met up with a group in Canada near my sister’s home. I loved the fellowship time because I was hungry to see the move of the Spirit and it was clear He was moving through this group. I also met up one time with the nearest group to my home (a little over an hour away). As I was followed this movement I started feeling like it was somewhat separated from the Church as a whole. It was reminding me of other movements over the years that eventually became unhealthy due to idolizing the leaders and becoming prideful. I had experienced this as an individual and knew how unhealthy I had become and the breaking that needed to take place in my life (November 2017 was my lowest low) I didn’t want to fall back into this way of thinking. I removed my marker and stopped following TLR. Every so often I would run across a RUclips video and last year I added my marker again. I had a sense that things were changing for the better with TLR. I didn’t see the apology video, but after watching this video it confirms that God is at work through TLR as a whole and for this I’m so grateful. I hope I’ve explained myself clearly. I knew that God was moving all along, but had some concerns arise and I’m so thankful for TLR moving in the direction it is going. It is beautiful to witness and although I’m not directly involved with the TLR family, I’m definitely a supporter and will be blessed to be part of a group from TLR if they ever start up in my city. I am thankful I have my marker up. God has placed me with a group of believers who are moving in the gifts of the Spirit and living holy lives. They have baptisms on a weekly basis and I’ve opened my home to a women’s group that fellowship together every week. Most are serving on the streets or in the jail and the spiritual growth that is taking place is beyond anything I ever dreamed of witnessing in my life. God is moving!!! He is purifying His church! May He receive all the glory through our lives as individuals and the Church as a whole!!! 🙏🏻♥️
Through this ministry the Lord changed my life, but structure and accountability is what I noticed was needed. Many people born again, the power of the Holy Spirit moving in a beautiful way but when many people that were impacted by this ministry left there church they had nowhere to go, there was opposition even with family like me, and it was not easy! >.< and please don’t misunderstand me I’m not trying to condemn in any way but I say this to say that God is faithful, He kept me safe, and lead me through this whole time. This video as well as the apology video confirms the Lord faithfulness, he will not leave us alone! It is beautiful to see the growth and maturity that is going on in The Last Reformation, thank you Jesus! I am praising God for your freedom, Torben! My Christian life was accelerated through ypur ministry. Unfortunately, I was separated from my LRM family due to taking a job in a remote community and I was unable to have anything like it here and I back slid into the world. God convicted me end of 2022 and I gave up so much to come back to Him but my walk is not the same. The fire is dimmed and I desire Him so much, yet find myself distracted 😢 I keep praying for breakthrough, as I am feeling very alone here and no one is on fire like the LRM movement. I am wondering if I should sit in the midst of a group of believers who are not passionate about their faith. Will my presence make them more ardent, or will I end up becoming lukewarm like them? What does Jesus do with lukewarm believers anyway? Over the past three generations, I have attended various churches. I have been with the "frozen chosen" and the fervent "Toronto Blessing" movement. However, some wise individuals with a sensible perspective brought mutual understanding and stopped the persecution of the Holy Spirit's power encounters. They used their fire hose of "We're all Christians. Help us to blend together" to end the spread of red-hot revivals in Western New York in the '90s. The traditionalist denominations, led by philosophical-minded individuals, quietly ushered us into the lazy and faithless sense-knowledge congregations. However, I don't want to be a "Lone Ranger." I think house churches offer complete spiritual freedom.

My sister actually attended and met you at the arc in North Carolina. I praise God that my two children are also saved because I was finally able to understand what born again actually was! What burden, His burden is light. God draws each of us to desire to sign up for heart surgery. The surgeon outstreched His arms to display His desire for all to come to receive forgiveness and enjoy the gift His soul cried out to bring healing for He alone calls His beloved. good am from the philippines! the fact that torben spent a hell of a time in prison, albeit a severe trial that he went through and a severely humbling experience, it simply shows that there is something found wanting in us. and that is learning to pray earnestly to God in unity and not be solely immersed in public healing/baptism/kickstarting or go on with our own small group pursuits ! when the apostle peter underwent persecution and was thrown in jail by herod and be tried in public, all the people of the church took the time to pray as one earnestly for him! and the miracle that followed was amazing.

Excellent video Obviously, Holy Spirit is working in a deeper way in all of us. However, I think there is a deeper element that has not been addressed. Before we knew, Jesus, we had an egocentric identity. For instance, if A person is an auto mechanic, the egocentric identity would be being a better auto mechanic than anyone else. If you were an alcoholic, the egocentric identity might be, that you can “drink other people under the table.” Other egocentric identities might be intellectualism or false ideologies. Often When we become believers in Jesus, that egocentric identity is not mortified. I call it “the pastor trap”. Although, in some instances, that is an accurate assessment, it is not a fair assessment. They get more attention, so it is easier to fall into pride and becoming an easy target of observation. It can happen to anybody in the congregation. A deacon, elder, usher, sound, technician, worship leader; any function/title can become an egocentric identity. At that point In order to guard the identity the flesh needs to guard the position and then also a spirit of religion or pride can enter. It operates similar to a computer virus. The main program might be to serve and glorify Jesus, but, there is a virus, operating in the background who influences decisions. So, if an egocentric identity is operating in the Spirit with healing and Deliverance, instead of operating in Jesus’ compassion, an egocentric identity will judge a person in the flesh and then evaluate whether or not helping that person will stroke their ego. Often people in a group doing ministry will be judging someone’s intellectual level or character and not see the potential Jesus sees in them. When the group prays for that person, they will jump in and lay hands on them, and pray also. It is entirely egocentric to be viewed as part of the group by their piers Disclaimer. I know the previous two paragraphs were not Holy Spirit, but I was venting my thoughts. Probably egocentric.🤔 How I know it was not Holy Spirit? Because “on earth, as it is in heaven” has us speak the opposite of the negative things we observe. speaking and declaring positive things to bring Freedom. However, in light of the scriptures, it needs to be addressed. Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ Yes, you have addressed the issue of pride in this video. I’m seeing the seed of pride (egocentric identity) As something deeper. Yes, we are instructed to renew our minds. Prayer, memorizing, scripture, and as written in Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. However, I believe that having the mind of Christ is something different. Something that needs to be imparted into us supernaturally. The same way, I do not see that repenting of egocentric identity can be accomplished by the external process of renewing our minds. But, only by faith looking fully at Jesus.(mano e trios), becoming completely vulnerable and yielded and Him removing that seed and replacing it with Himself.
Pray to the Lord for leadership and He will guide you there. The answer isn't everybody try to be an apostle. Humble yourself. If you want to make disciples...you must first BE DISCIPLED.
Sounds logical, but it is not so simple. Few churches in the Northern countries seem to want to follow Christ. Churches trust doctors and psychiatrist more than they trust God. Even in the UK it's beginning to look the same.

[2Thes 3: 6] Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
Look at the context about “walking disorderly.” He is referring to those who refuse to work. Also, water baptism is not necessary for salvation; it is not part of the Gospel: “Moreover brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel … For I delivered unto you that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried and that He rose again according to the scriptures.” 1 Cor 15:1-4 Paul also stated, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel …” 1 Cor 1:17. Also, remember the thief in the cross. He had never been baptized in water yet Jesus declared that he would be with Him in paradise. If water baptism was necessary for salvation He could not have made this statement. We are saved by faith. We need to note that the word for “baptism” in Greek means “immerse”. It can refer to immersion in water or immersion in the Holy Spirit or immersion into the Body of Christ as referred to in Rom 6:3: “Do you not know, you who were baptized into Christ were baptized into His death?” If water is not mentioned we need to study the context to see which immersion it refers to and not assume it means water as most have mistakenly done.

I am wondering if I should sit in the midst of a group of believers who are not passionate about their faith. Will my presence make them more ardent, or will I end up becoming lukewarm like them? What does Jesus do with lukewarm believers anyway?
Over the past three generations, I have attended various churches. I have been with the "frozen chosen" and the fervent "Toronto Blessing" movement. However, some wise individuals with a sensible perspective brought mutual understanding and stopped the persecution of the Holy Spirit's power encounters. They used their fire hose of "We're all Christians. Help us to blend together" to end the spread of red-hot revivals in Western New York in the '90s.
The traditionalist denominations, led by philosophical-minded individuals, quietly ushered us into the lazy and faithless sense-knowledge congregations. However, I don't want to be a "Lone Ranger." I think house churches offer complete spiritual freedom.
We need both: signs that follow, and fruit. We need the full gospel.

good am from the philippines! the fact that torben spent a hell of a time in prison, albeit a severe trial that he went through and a severely humbling experience, it simply shows that there is something found wanting in us. and that is learning to pray earnestly to God in unity and not be solely immersed in public healing/baptism/kickstarting or go on with our own small group pursuits ! when the apostle peter underwent persecution and was thrown in jail by herod and be tried in public, all the people of the church took the time to pray as one earnestly for him! and the miracle that followed was amazing.
2018 Jesus used your films 2016 2017 and 2018 to save me ly wife and my son. After that so much more souls have been saved. And you don't even know me. Glory to Jesus.

Obviously, Holy Spirit is working in a deeper way in all of us. However, I think there is a deeper element that has not been addressed.
Before we knew, Jesus, we had an egocentric identity. For instance, if A person is an auto mechanic, the egocentric identity would be being a better auto mechanic than anyone else. If you were an alcoholic, the egocentric identity might be, that you can “drink other people under the table.” Other egocentric identities might be intellectualism or false ideologies.
Often When we become believers in Jesus, that egocentric identity is not mortified. I call it “the pastor trap”. Although, in some instances, that is an accurate assessment, it is not a fair assessment. They get more attention, so it is easier to fall into pride and becoming an easy target of observation. It can happen to anybody in the congregation. A deacon, elder, usher, sound, technician, worship leader; any function/title can become an egocentric identity. At that point In order to guard the identity the flesh needs to guard the position and then also a spirit of religion or pride can enter.
It operates similar to a computer virus. The main program might be to serve and glorify Jesus, but, there is a virus, operating in the background who influences decisions. So, if an egocentric identity is operating in the Spirit with healing and Deliverance, instead of operating in Jesus’ compassion, an egocentric identity will judge a person in the flesh and then evaluate whether or not helping that person will stroke their ego. Often people in a group doing ministry will be judging someone’s intellectual level or character and not see the potential Jesus sees in them. When the group prays for that person, they will jump in and lay hands on them, and pray also. It is entirely egocentric to be viewed as part of the group by their piers
Disclaimer. I know the previous two paragraphs were not Holy Spirit, but I was venting my thoughts. Probably egocentric.🤔 How I know it was not Holy Spirit? Because “on earth, as it is in heaven” has us speak the opposite of the negative things we observe. speaking and declaring positive things to bring Freedom.
However, in light of the scriptures, it needs to be addressed.

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
Yes, you have addressed the issue of pride in this video. I’m seeing the seed of pride (egocentric identity) As something deeper. Yes, we are instructed to renew our minds. Prayer, memorizing, scripture, and as written in Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. However, I believe that having the mind of Christ is something different. Something that needs to be imparted into us supernaturally. The same way, I do not see that repenting of egocentric identity can be accomplished by the external process of renewing our minds. But, only by faith looking fully at Jesus.(mano e trios), becoming completely vulnerable and yielded and Him removing that seed and replacing it with Himself.

Sounds logical, but it is not so simple. Few churches in the Northern countries seem to want to follow Christ. Churches trust doctors and psychiatrist more than they trust God. Even in the UK it's beginning to look the same.

Look at the context about “walking disorderly.” He is referring to those who refuse to work.
Also, water baptism is not necessary for salvation; it is not part of the Gospel: “Moreover brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel … For I delivered unto you that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried and that He rose again according to the scriptures.” 1 Cor 15:1-4
Paul also stated, “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel …” 1 Cor 1:17.
Also, remember the thief in the cross. He had never been baptized in water yet Jesus declared that he would be with Him in paradise. If water baptism was necessary for salvation He could not have made this statement. We are saved by faith.
We need to note that the word for “baptism” in Greek means “immerse”. It can refer to immersion in water or immersion in the Holy Spirit or immersion into the Body of Christ as referred to in Rom 6:3: “Do you not know, you who were baptized into Christ were baptized into His death?” If water is not mentioned we need to study the context to see which immersion it refers to and not assume it means water as most have mistakenly done.
