I loved game 1....so suspenseful. If the strip mine was played before the wheel it would have been over. Sometimes you gotta strip your own lands with some builds.
@@francisriesterer2791 Plateau then mountain then strip-mine. A strip-mine gives land tax player control because it forces the opponent to play another land to keep up with mana curve but what it actually does is put the land tax player in a position to strip his own land to activate the land tax.
I know the pink weenie deck is a budget version but if this was going full out, I would splash blue for Timetwister (and whatever else) because he can shuffle both the artifacts and the basic lands back into his deck.
Fun games! I do enjoy the theme of your elementals deck - nice thing about both of you playing underpowered is I can easiliy build both of those decks!

This was a really nice match to play. Game 2 was also soooo close.
On what turn could i play it? Needed white for tax and then twice red for edge.. then the wheel. Or i missed something?

Good match. I have a soft spot for the Earth Elemental. Big boy used to be a mainstay of my old decks.
