In Starrail, the next adult heroine came out a year later - Acheron. This means they will do the same. They even stole the character type from Hoyo. Every month there will be a new adult man and a rotation of loli and schoolgirls. And one Adult heroine once a year! 100% copy of Hoyo. I hope Hoyo destroys WW and that they suffer a collapse and a drop in income - only then will they stop copying Hoyo and start releasing good and quality heroines that you can't get from Hoyo.

I'm a little bit conflicted, while male characters looks amazing, female ones a bit lacking and have to similar facial features. Pgr have amazing character designs they can just copy them, but it's probably developing by different team.
They suffered horrifically from same-face syndrome in the tech test. Comparatively, they've come a long way and given that it's still beta, there's no need to feel conflicted at all really. Odds are that they'll become more distinct upon actual release. Lots of things are still unfinished and need to be polished as things stand and, I mean, this test in particular was under NDA likely for that exact reason.
Yinlin is already the vera expy, so they might put some familiar faces. I also remember back on the techtest almost all the females have the Liv face syndrome.

Mutated humans, they are all humans prior to what caused the apocalypse. You could also see half of yangyangs hair are feathers, same with jiyan and mortefi having dragon scales
Like the guy above me said, Resonators gain multiple features they don't have prior to awakening. This include the forte mark, which is the sound wave tattoo and animal like mutations. Ling yang have notable features like lion ears and tail, and overall more animal like while some of others doesn't have much. I theorise it have something to do with their resistance to overclocking, which is when they goes berserk, basically (insert berk joke). Some I don't think have any mutations at all. Like Aalto or Chixia.

They suffered horrifically from same-face syndrome in the tech test. Comparatively, they've come a long way and given that it's still beta, there's no need to feel conflicted at all really. Odds are that they'll become more distinct upon actual release. Lots of things are still unfinished and need to be polished as things stand and, I mean, this test in particular was under NDA likely for that exact reason.
Yinlin is already the vera expy, so they might put some familiar faces. I also remember back on the techtest almost all the females have the Liv face syndrome.

it's not just a different team it's a different engine as well. PGR is in Unity, Wuthering Waves it's Unreal Engine.

I still think star rail`s gacha animation has the most suspense out of any gacha i have played and i played a lot of gachas. but this so well done too.

Summoning animation is the opposite og Genshin's lol. Instead of shooting a star down, you shoot up in sky. Very similar, indeed. BUT adding the animation of each character is well done 👍🏻. Preferably animated characters than an image of the characters
Hmm not gonna lie, i luv the animation but they could reduce the camera angle for some of the 4 star because it could be very tiring for your eyes like that to see it everytime

Mutated humans, they are all humans prior to what caused the apocalypse. You could also see half of yangyangs hair are feathers, same with jiyan and mortefi having dragon scales
Like the guy above me said, Resonators gain multiple features they don't have prior to awakening. This include the forte mark, which is the sound wave tattoo and animal like mutations. Ling yang have notable features like lion ears and tail, and overall more animal like while some of others doesn't have much. I theorise it have something to do with their resistance to overclocking, which is when they goes berserk, basically (insert berk joke). Some I don't think have any mutations at all. Like Aalto or Chixia.

I think Genshin comparisons are just bound to happen no matter what, that will happen with every game that has a similar system behind it (open world, mobile game, gacha monetization model, etc) and I bet the DEVs were heavily inspired by Genshin anyways, so there is no need to feel offended for them either imo. Hell, ToF marketed themselves as a Genshin killer even. There´s no doubt in my mind people are trying to have similar success with their own games by following the Genshin pattern, and it´s perfectly fine to admit that.
