  • This Auto Steer was installed in Havre Mt at Big Equipment where this 950HP Big Bud was built. The system was holding a consistent +/- 6 when steering a pivot which is very impressive for a 4wd. Once an implement has been attached to the tractor we expect to be in the +/- 1 or 2. For straight AB line steering we were already in the +/- 1 area. For any questions Call the number in the video. We travel all over the US to do auto steer any any tractor, combine, sprayer, specialty harvesters, and home built machines. Call Scott at Agland Solutions for your auto steer needs.

Some with a lot of money should really think about reviving the big bud series. It was just ahead of its time. There is a market for this machine now.

@@J-1410 (IK my comment itself was quite dumb, 4 years passed)
I think older 4WDs got the advantage of heavy thick frame that is hyper durable compared to downsized everything. Also as 2-strokes being quite inefficient and almost completley inferior to 4-stroke you could repower a Bud.

Nah, not really much chance of either happening. Not sure about this particular model, but, if I'm not mistaken, the frame rails in the Big Bud 747 were 2 inches thick. I would imagine this machines frame rails would be of similar size. Drive shaft, I have no clue at all about the size, but I would say that it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of at least 6 inches in diameter, with a wall thickness of at least .375".
