Irishman here, Jonah Lomu epitomizes everything a man should be, a hero of our world, as humble as can be, thank you for the memories Jonah. We will never forget!!! R.I.P.
He was my childhood hero growing up in New Zealand. To me and all my mates he was the Toughest, meanest, fastest son of a gun to wear the black jersey. moe mai ra e hoa (rest easy my friend) see you when I get there.
I remember seeing Jonah turn up at a touch tournament when I was younger. I'll never forget how peaceful and calm he wasas he interacted with people, nothing like the machine he was on the field. That will always stay with me for the rest of my life. As we say in NZ 'If you don't know Lomu you don't know Rugby.'
Irishman here, what a player, what a pro, what a bloke, Jonah u will always be in our thoughts and prayers, u revolutionised the game of Rugby, u were an inspiration to all adults and kids alike, u are sorely missed, god bless u mate, RIP, WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
In my eyes the most famous sportsperson in the world ever. Still thinking about him and watching videos of his tries in 2019! I grew up watching him on TV. So sad he is no longer with us. RIP
I find it difficult to fathom why there are those 36 individuals whom would dislike this humble spirited behemoth? They would all be warmed by his humility if not terrified by his on field wrath Best they remain secure behind their sticky keyboards 😂🤣 Rest easy Big Man✌ Rewa Hard
I always knew Jonah as like a second father to me I'd always look up to him at my hardest times and when I lost my grand final when I was in u16 I said "fuck it I'm gonna be a younger version or jonah" but when it all came crashing down I thought of Jonah how he just kept pushing no matter what You will be locked in my heart, Jonah❤️ Rest well
What an ultimate Joy to have watched this Ultratalented Beast Winger play live in his prime and when he was sick (You just never knew about his dialysis condition Wow) . I had to watch a bit of Jonah today to ease the pain of losing to the Wallabies last night lol
There are a number of great All Blacks who people respected enormously. However very few of them you could honestly say were loved like Jonah was by the rugby public.
I believe Jonah is the greatest rugby player of all time and the 3rd greatest ball sports player of all time behind the great Pele and the dominant Esther Vergeer I remember hearing about Jonah’s death and I was so shocked at how old he was, and now Pele has also joined him, R.I.P to both absolute legends ⚽️⚽️⚽️🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🐐🐐🐐, 🏉🏉🏉🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿🐐🐐🐐
Sad I worked in the meat works our manager came out halted our production and told us jonah lomu had passed we had a moment of silence the manager in his office crying at what he had just heard on the radio he kept saying why now he's to young ...all day he walked up and down our production chain in dissaray
@@camillabarclay4049 absolutely…I should have made myself clearer…he received a transplant at the age of 29, which went on to function for the next seven years before failing. Near the end, he couldn’t even make it up a flight of 6 stairs to help carry groceries. It’s so tragic…a life so cruelly ended
ruclips.net/video/HSWq45VufaI/видео.html you need to watch this one Christian Cullen one of the greatest fullbacks of all time, he is another freak player.
I was never in to rugby ,but I remember Jonah very well in his prime I would of been 14 ish ,what an absolute tank ,seemed like a really nice genuine fella as well ,RIP champ
