I'm trying to use liquid starch to thicken water and float acylics..it's floating but paint isn't transferring to the object I'm dipping which is a candle
acrylics only work on porous items like paper or clothing etc... otherwise the paint is immediately washed off by the float..i sometimes dip items with oil based paints instead cuz that sticks to everything but burning a candle with paint on it seems like a toxic smoke thing.?
the amonia is dilluted out o the bottle but i wouldnt use amonia near my kid. there is a recipe to make paint float from a prodcuct called carageen which is a food product that you can eat so maybe use that instead it just takes a long time to thicken up
This was super helpful! I did the marbling part successfully. Now how do I dispose of the thickened water?
What paints are you using? Very helpful video!

Is this safe for kids ? Where can I find more info on how to do this? Thanks man.

@@cooketv Thanks for the reply. Hard to find proper info on how to do this in a "fun body paint at an event" scenario.
@@cooketv what kind of paints do you use will any paint work?
it depends.. i use a huge variety of different paints. you might have to thin up the paint so its more watery. thick paint sinks more and is slow.
@@cooketv thank you, I use one brand so far, looking to expand my options.
or whatever
