Tbh I had low standards with this movie but while I was watching it I couldn't stop laughing and I fell in love with it
LeBron literally went out of his way to make stereotypical jokes about himself in this movie, (the superteam references, him going at it with the refs and even the Michael B Jordan thing) and he's not even bothered by it. Guess he really wants to trigger them haters 🤣😅
After the half break time, when the toons came out of the Looney Tunes logo breaking it, man I cried by childhood nostalgia.
I would admit that even though space jam 2 wouldn’t be a blockbuster, but it’s worth a movie to be so fun for the summer.
Everyone let the nostalgia take over and didn't give it a real chance, plus the title says "A new legacy" for a reason, it's for the new generation yet with some respects to the first movie, and other people missed that which ruined the experience for them, they had too much high expectations for the movie, it's meant to be corny and goofy like the first movie yet they had fun with it, it's not perfect but it's good, enjoying yourself is the key to enjoying movies like this

The best thing to come out of the pandemic is that we get to see reactions to new movies.
If you go into this with no expectations then it isn’t that bad. I think it’s got unfairly criticized a bit 🤷♂️😂 It’s Space Jam! What do ppl expect? 🤔 Think the final act would’ve been better if it was more of a traditional basketball game 🏀
The whole time watching this movie I was thinking Lebron has a whole other son that’s all about basketball but yet he focuses on Dom 😂

Honestly I loved it. It wasn't what I'd call good, but it's what I'd call fun. Which all I really wanted/expected out of the movie, so it ended up meeting 100% of my expectations. And honestly there were a couple moments that broke my brother and I when we were watching it. The Mad Max and Game of Thrones bits were golden, and I'd honestly watch an entire movie that's just them in different wb properties.
Also, Don looked like he was having a lot of fun in this.

I love this movie for as it is a family movie, I even watched it a second time. The first time that I seen this, the first thing I notice I went a little crazy in the opening credit scene is that I love that there was Kobe Bryant with Lebron James together in a picture. Just for the table talk ideas, showing Kobe in this movie for just a split second is awesome just to let anyone know that he is always gonna be there for a former Laker, Lebron. So just to say, this is actually the best movie for this year, adults are gonna love it and the kids are gonna love it too.

Exactly. The original Space Jam is corny and flawed, but when I was eight years old I loved it and I still watch it for the nostalgia. This is a kid's movie that adults can enjoy too, not a think-piece film drama.

Its pretty bad but the jokes are made specifically for basketball fans so you're average movie goer isn't going to get them.

We really enjoyed watching this movie last night. Especially when they were gathering the team 😂 it was fun! The hate this movie gets was really unnecessary.. It’s like the message of this movie hit them. They totally forgot about bein looney & “fun” 😂

I had fun with this movie. It's ultimately meant for kids and even then I was still laughing. That Ray Charles joke was excellent! The rap bit was awful and was definitely a note from some out of touch producer.

Needed to cut the manager, felt like that was only there because of part 1, but the guy was the worst actor I've seen in a major studio release. Yet they cut to him so much.

The best comment I heard about the movie was “Warner Bros showed us all the characters that they don’t use or/and the characters that they didn’t exploit in the best possible way”.
This movie wasn't terrible, if you don't expect too much from it. It's basically Ralph breaks the Internet meets Tron, dare I say Tron: Legacy, meets the Looney toon basketball game for the SNES.
I think the only decent idea was

Loved it! Brought back so many memories as a child what I had forgotten. Not only that made new memories. I Laughed a lot what surprised me. I'll spend the rest of my life tryin to spot the cameos. Shocked the films getting so much hate. Maybe people hate the fact they've naturally aged MORE & Space Jam reminds them of that
I did kinda like how the toons were aware of the fact that they were once again playing a basketball game with an NBA player xD

Was waiting for this video! Greg's "What are you doing movie?" Was exactly what I asked. All in all, it was an enjoyable movie. I can't pick at this movie like I would any DC or marvel project. Aside from that, I had fun with parts of the movie and didn't really care too much about certain cheesy bits since. It was a little too self aware and it was fun seeing who I can pick out in the crowd from the serververse, but my final thoughts on this whole thing... I NEED a new Looney Tunes Back in Action type of movie. Brendon Fraser deserves another chance.

I fucking love this movie. It's been a while for me to enjoy a movie that doesn't take itself serious.
This movie reminds me of dessert. It’s not necessarily good or bad for you. It just is what it is and despite the issues it can give you (or the issues that the movie has), you can still enjoy it and to me that’s all you need in order to have a great time eating it all up.
I liked everything except Bugs Bunny. He said Doc about 200 times in about an hour, and the way he put together the team for LeBron was underhanded. The audience was cool but the basketball game was lacking.
