Ouigo is a low-cost train, its fares are very competitive, but the amenities offered are very basic. It is meant to compete with low-cost carriers like EasyJet., etc.. I think it's a great service, but they need to have a functioning bar-cafeteria, especially on long trip like Paris-Nice. Ouigo entered the Spanish market and their train have a functioning bar there. Ouigo would be a good fit for Germany, if only the Germans can get their act together and fix their railway service.
Yes. The Montreal Toronto train costed me over CAD 560 for 3 people this July. That is a whopping 370 Euro, or over 120 Euro per person for a delayed 6.5 hour trip (very slow) from Montreal to Toronto. No canteen. I was taking this train ride after 35 years and would never recommend.

The Corridor trains between Montreal and Toronto don’t have a canteen! Just a push cart with some snacks and really bad/overpriced pre packaged food
That’s true, I neglected that fact. Though the TGV Ouigo has no food service at all
@@NokiTravels that's good to know! This video is super useful for planning a trip to France, thank you!

Great video, but from an objective standpoint, Spain's high-speed rail network is the best in Europe.
I didn't get to Spain this trip, I'd love to try their trains tho. Hoping to do a Portugal and Spain trip in the future :)
