Listen!! Im a hairstylist in 2024, and I am putting my health first! I need food tips for professionals on the go. I feel like my mental and physical assets are my greatest asset! I need help with food choices and exercise Mrs. NINA and Congratulations on everything
I know your request was for Dr. Nina to respond ... but being a dually employed healthcare professional, and as a person who has a good friend that is a hairstylist- I knowwww this is hard af! Suggestions I would like to offer that worked (and backed by science as well) ⭐️ meal prep : plan ahead, even if it's not a whole meal. Grilled chicken, carrots, celery, salads, wraps, fruits, nuts, protein supplements help keep you fuller longer. You may not always be able to physically stop, or be near a heating source (microwave/stove) ⭐️ break down physical activity: maybe you can't work out for 30 mins or hoursss straight thru but maybe a quick 5-10 mins is more palatable for your schedule. Sounds odd at first, but maybe everytime you go to the RR do 5-10 squats or arm rotations, or stretches. Park away from the main entrance to increase your step count low key, it works lol! This sounds weird at first when you start, but if u stick to it, it will help create the habit/mental programming required to where it will become second nature. ⭐️ stay hydrated ... whatever that looks like (i've learned that not errybody likes water lol) ⭐️ put YOU on your schedule!!! Find the time to put you on your own busy schedule. Take care of you!!! As you cannot service anyone or yourself if you're not operable. Take that extra 5 mins to yourself. You may have to sneak it in in odd spaces, (showers, RR breaks, grocery store runs, coffee pick up, etc.) whatever that looks like - but DO IT! Journaling, mindfulness, meditation, therapy, praying, emotion tracking all have great benefits. Try it out and see which works for you. Start small and watch it grow 🤝🏽😉

I plan Retire in June. And Moving into a SENIOR INDEPENDENT LIVING apartment. And meet New People and Travel. Oh and Loose weight by incorporating A few senior flexibility moves and strength training, such as simple squats, reaching up into a cabinet, exercises to keep my knees and ankles flexible.
Speak……I will be an empty nester in 2024, however I started living the life style in 2023. I’m going to miss my baby but momma gots a whole new life to live. I had my first date last Friday and fell in love with who I am now. See me dating is more about meeting the well evolved, grown woman me, and seeing how differently I show up for myself and whom I desire to partner with. Dude was nice, but unfortunately he ain’t it..I’ve also started readjusting my social circle, and moving people in their rightful place, even out of the circle if that’s the case..it is what it is……you nailed this girl

But this year, I’m focusing on the following: 1) My health- losing weight, shaping up getting rid of diabetes. 2) My finances- pay off debt, cut unnecessary spending & save 3) Growing my hair longer. So far, I’ve cut $460 per month, been sticking to a whole food diet. Not going out to eat like I used to.
I don't do new year resolutions, but daily new awareness. I come to the conclusion that I need to learn how to love myself and the skin I'm in. It's a struggle looking in the mirror and if effects doing this openly, which I enjoy getting out.
Congratulations again... Welcome to mommy hood. I lost 70pds last year been maintaining now for about 4-5 months. Toning, financial goals, & wanting to manage my time better 2024 goals. Like you said 1 day at a time.
