Mines a 1.2 petrol 2014 Had the same problem I sealed the the joint your showing and then it was still blowing, it's a common problem on this model. I just took the cat converter off and the heat shield around it to find a big crack on the metal, just paid a welder a tenner to weld it. Now its perfect 👍 Hope it helps Also it done that engine light on mine coz the sensors are getting false readings coz of crack so high emissions
I have the same problem in my Peugeot 208-2013 with the catalytic showing the warning light on dashboard, but when i go from the back of the car i see white smoke coming out from the exhaust pipe. Couldn’t find the problem if it was in the engine cylinders or the catalytic converter.
Mine is pegeout 2008 showing "Service " word in red color in the bottom RPM dashboard but without the service key in the km dashboard .. I don't know what does this mean ?!

Hi any one can answer plz , I have 308 Peugeot Active HDI there is a problem with the speed sometimes speed stuck on the motorway is 37 to 40 between for long time and sometime the card even go to 91 , 80 , 85 the mechanic was saying there is a problem with the additive pump but after we put new pump there is a same issue any expert can you please help me with this issue what to do thank you

@@jabbatellyou I don't think so , this message doesn't relate to Service time as per the owner manual but related to the motor oil shortage. The service time is indicated by a wrench 🔧 in the main display not in the rpm display.

it's a known issue a small crack that needs welding same issue i had with my 2015 308 t9

I have the same probleme
most of 208 catalytic converter just simple cracking on the button, after welding at exhaust pipe garage working fine no more errors
and 308's too any 1.2
3 cylinder has this issue

Those 208s are known for splitting the cat underneath...
Cat is still healthy another ways cracking and licking
