- It is time for another one of Las Vegas Inside & Out's early morning sojourns down to the Strip for breakfast! Today we are off to the Venetian and Palazzo, to take a walk through and see what's new for Summer 2021...and then, we are going up to the exclusive 10th floor of the Venezia Tower, and breakfast at Thomas Keller's famed and acclaimed Bouchon Bistro! OMG there's a gorgeous view of the Venezia Pool Garden, and chicken and waffles on the menu. Who's hungry?

We’re gutted today😭, had a week at The Venetian booked in 5 weeks, but had to cancel today 😭😭😭 Borders are still closed to us in the UK 🇬🇧 & time has run out to either pay or cancel 🥲🥲 it’s would be our 30th anniversary while we were there, so we’re so sad we won’t be celebrating in Vegas, it would have been our 6th visit to this fabulous city, will definitely be back when we can 🥰🥰❤️

Aww Jo, we are hearing that from SO many of our international viewers, and it is not only heartbreaking, it is utterly frustrating as well! We are all powerless to do anything about any of it, except cancel and rebook and cancel and rebook. Meanwhile, we do sincerely hope you have a lovely 30th, no matter how you celebrate it!
Love the breakfasts! your so right early is key! Its like its your own city, sparse of life, lol. The Venetian is something else! And wow that's quite the place for breakfast, on our to do list now! You're so right, we have to give the Venetian some more time to look and appreciate. This adventure was.....what was I going to say?..... oh Amazing!, lol.

Thank you so much for this video. I have walked through Venetian and Palazzo dozens of times, and I have stayed at Palazzo before. But it was not until watching this video that I learned about the Venezia Tower and that restaurant on the 10th floor of Venetian. That looks like a restaurant that I am definitely going to have to file away in my memory to go to for the right occasion.
We love it when we make you aware of something you didn't know about - especially a local. :) And yes, definitely put Bouchon on your fancy dinner list!
Well you've done it again! We've never gone to any Bouchon being afraid of the cost....but $30 seems reasonable and those waffles sound heavenly! Thanks for another informative vlog & restaurant recommendation!
I know. I thought "Only 30 dollars?" It seems like a good value for a memorable experience.
The entire menu is on their website, so you can know the prices before you get there, and even choose what you might want to order. It's about the total immersive experience -- including the meal, but also the atmosphere, service, view, decor, all the rest as well.

I loved Bouchon when I went for a girls trip 🙌🤤 And I don’t know how Paula can handle wearing turtlenecks and blazers at all in the Vegas heat, especially all summer 🥵
It's cold on the casino.
The turtleneck was sleeveless, and the sweater/blazer was cotton, so it wasn't too bad. And that is correct, casinos and restaurants are always chilly! A/C is sometimes not my friend lol...
Paula deserves a great breakfast after that huge and delicious looking pie she made! The Venetian and Palazzo are still on my bucket list to stay at. Kind of an overcast day for sure. Love all the art work. I love the Yard Bird Southern Table and if you go, you will definitely need that 25% discount. What a gorgeous place...thanks so much for the tour! Just so nice. Oh wow! Chicken and Waffles....yum, yum, yum! That looked so good. Loved the talk at the end! Awesome video

We just stayed there july 28th for 15th anniversary at The Venetian it was simply amazing I love the whole entire resort We Celebrated at Delmonico Steakhouse we also tried to Yardbirds Southern kitchen the day after phenomenal👍🏽

Bouchon is WONDERFUL, and a sublime experience. I agree it’s too “fancy” for the typical Las Vegas tourist, but PERFECT for me! Excellent food, very good QUALITY. I’d never really noticed the separate, incredible lobby for Venezia towers, beautiful! Thanks for the tour!
Thank YOU for tagging along -- and I agree, on the sublime experience thing. Lots of folks come to Vegas for bargains, or shopping, or pool parties, or nightclubs, or headliners - and we have all that. But some folks come for a memorable and classy experience to take home and savor the memories. Bouchon would be that. :)

You sure are - I mean, we have IHOP and Denny's and McDonald's too...but if you want the classy experience, Bouchon is an option.
With all these breakfast choices we'll need to extend our vacation for a month. 🤣. Can't wait to explore. We have a countdown every Sunday before we watch your video of how many weeks we have left...gets us EXCITED!!

My wife and I stayed in the Venezia tower the last time we were there. Took a little while to figure out the several different banks of elevators to get to the room! It was nice though. Howdy Bryan - well we sure hope you are going to come back soon. We were so impressed by the Venezia Tower, we booked ourselves a stay to enjoy all that splendor!
I've done steak and eggs for brekky but chicken and waffles is a new one. That meal looked delicious and it have better been given the price you paid for it. That was a very well done production ... cinematography top notch as usual and the editing was superb. Thanks for taking us along for a rather bizarre breakfast and looking forward to your next exploit.

Wow, that breakfast looked amazing, when you put that fabulous chunk of butter onto the bread, I literally opened my mouth as if it was me eating it! hahaha
LOL I totally get you! I had the opportunity to travel to Paris many years back, on business, and I think I lived on French bread and butter for 5 days!

Venetian is a beautiful place. I got a chance to see what the luxury suites look like. Wow! Every time I came into the hotel reception area and looked around or up I was frozen with awe. A four star rating for 20 years straight. Just think about that.
I did think about that, and I found it remarkable - that's why we for sure wanted to point that out. That is not accomplished without unwavering commitment to quality.
We have actually made plans (because of this video) to do a stay in the Venezia Tower. I can't wait to show Dale that fabulous lobby!

Gosh! We’ve been staying at the Venetian for a very long time. We love the food at Delmonico’s and The Grand Luxe Cafe. But we’ve never eaten at Buchon’s. Thank you for showing me the place! That’s where we’ll be having breakfast in two more weeks. 🤣👍🏼🤗 Love you two! From Texas
We make chicken and waffles a lot but we do it a bit different. We make cornbread waffles with cheese and jalapeños, breaded chicken with a honey lime sriracha sauce, but sometimes I'll do it the way I grew up and do traditional waffles and make a gravy for it. SOOOOO good!
Bouchon was on our list of places to go since we were staying at the Venetian, but we were there for Tommy's job and ran out of time to try some of the places we had on our itinerary.
We agree with you, Paula! It's a beautiful property and we're working hard to make it back there! Awesome video as usual! ❤️

Oh please do! If you have not ever walked through it, it is just jaw-dropping spectacular. That walkway to the lobby, and the ceiling above the Grand Canal Shoppes entry are can't-miss sights.

Dale, Why don’t you ever join Paula for these early breakfasts?
Well it's a matter of logistics, and time management. We were working on a Paula's Kitchen that week, AND Dale was editing Resorts World (which was a big project), so he was pretty much tied to his studio. I go out to my job every weekday, I am an early bird, so it is feasible for me to get up early, go do a "Breakfast at...", capture good content, and then go to work. We have to manage our lives however we can, and often that means we split up the duties.
Love your videos Dale & Paula :) And we didn't know there was a Bouchon restaurant on the 10th floor, so thanks for letting us know!! We definitely want to check it out next time we're there (which is hopefully in October) :) - Amanda & Scott from Ontario, Canada

Another great video as always! Thanks for the brief tour of the property in addition to the breakfast review. Paula, perhaps chicken and waffles could be the subject of a future episode of "Paula's Kitchen." Chicken and waffles is one of those combinations that is particularly good when you can't make up your mind if you want breakfast or lunch/dinner, such as noontime, or at 3 in the morning after a late night out.

I love chicken and waffles and your food looked delicious. However $31 for chicken and waffles is a lot but they did give you a lot of food. Kudos to you for being able to finish three of those waffles.
Well the waffles were pretty much all I ate - a couple bites of the chicken, the bread, but that was it. It is a fancy high-end French bistro, so I wasn't shocked by the price; in fact I had already seen the menu on the website.
Yesss boneless chicken is a bonus
A total surprise! I didn't eat all of it, so I think some bones probably remained, but not in the breast portion.

You epitomize the grace and friendly hospitality of the city
Getting up at 7 30 am and going to Bouchon when they open and I have that exquisite dining room to mostly myself is one of my absolutely cherished Las Vegas experiences
I never miss doing it every trip
Some things you might want to try next time are any of the omelets - rare to find a perfect French style omelet in the US
The special hash of the day always live up to that name
And if you want the most elegant and beautifully prepared Cobb Salad you've ever had, this is the place - every element is perfection
Also you Dale have to share the brunch basket of breads and pastries - amazing!

Chicken and Waffles without fried chicken!??! Seemed like a lighter healthier take on a very heavy dish. Looked very good!

Always nice to see my favorite las vegas couple do nice things...your videos are always great and great advertisement for the visiting places( they should tear your bills for the great publicity you give them....and yeah maybe that fancy breakfast was a bit steep ( i rather do my 7$ californian at ellis island) but sometimes you have to treat yourself ( as when im in vegas i do ramsey steak paris sometimes) frigging pandemic and flightban causes me to be from vegas now in 2 years i hoped for september( as im vaccinated) but it looks flightban will not be lifted soon so i hope for spring next year

Hello Maarten - thank you as always for the kind compliments. The resorts and restaurants don't even know we exist, so no chance of them tearing up our bills LOL, but that's OK...we have a wonderful experience, we get to film it and show it to you, and it is all totally worth it.
As for the travel ban...don't get me started. We have SO many viewers who write with the same sad tale as you - cannot get here, cancelled flights, changed plans, but ever hopeful that someday you will be allowed back in. Fingers crossed that your spring trip will happen. :)

Yep we are now double-checking things, especially when we are in the resort corridor. I waver between pancakes and waffles, love them both honestly. I just love to go out to breakfast, it's my thing, always has been.
It's a great restaurant and I am planning on returning there during my visit this Month.

We prefer that too, but it's a matter of logistics, and time management. That week, Dale was editing both Resorts World and a Paula's Kitchen, so he had to spend the entire week at the computer. I go out to work every weekday, I am an early bird - thus it is easier for me to head out to do a "Breakfast at...", get some terrific footage for next week's vlog, and basically keep the train running.
