Blizzard has gone on record stating that they have all the data for TBC. If they don't actually give us a true TBC experience utilizing all this data then people will see it for what it is: laziness.
Well that's great news, but I lost my faith in Blizzard long time ago, it's not even the same company anymore, but I still love all of the old Blizz games WC3, D2 and especially WoW, so lets hope they do this one thing right, would be a nice change of pace :)
@@Forefinger404 They have no reason not to implement all versions of TBC through content phases as it's good marketing when people know Classic was meant to be based on 1.12 (because it was the most complete version they had) and they've seen how that affects the endgame content at launch.
Wait... you want worse items? As someone who cleared all the Heroics first on my server, I hope they release a later version of TBC and we get the fixed version of items. I would have really liked a Classic + that fixed a lot of the bad stuff, perfect example, look at AQ20. We clear it in GDKPs and everything but the books rot because the person who designed the items was an idiot. I main a Warrior but I alt a Holy Paladin. There is literally nothing there for my pally, its all hybrid ret/tank garbage, and its not even designed well for those rolls. I would have more preferred if they had tweaked Classic to make items better but also given the bosses more HP and not allowed World Buffs in raids. If anything, I hope Blizzard learned from Classic (even the old devs came out and said WB stacking was idiotic) and tweak TBC to make it better, while keeping what made it great. Examples off the top of my head are nerf Resiliance to not reduce crit chance, as it fucks over classes who need to crit, improve items, add more herbs and mines (or do something about the overpop servers) and release BT/Hyjal ASAP because SSC and Tempest keep are trait up trash raids, like among the worst WoW has ever put out, which is sad because BT/Hyjal?sunwell are fun and I dont want to be miserable for a year in order to enjoy the 2nd half. Also, how did you lose your finger?
Well, I played like 10 private tbc servers so far, and on every single one of them I cleared T4 in a week, and on most of em I played casually, so my problem is that content is way to easy all the way up to Kael ( He is the first boss that takes few raid nights to progress in my exp). So having that 10-15 % stat squish on items and some profession nerfs like Drums *Cast ,X1 BS mace, would make content a bit harder and would take longer to progress. And I would like to see content take a bit longer to clear, otherwise T4/T5 (Half of the TBC content) will be cleared in less then a month. But that said, best way would be to make some changes, and make content challenging while fixing the trash design things. Also I am all down for Patch progression from 2.0 to 2.4.3. But all Class/Profession/Raid bugs, should be fixed from start, only balancing /content should be done trough patch cycles, and I think things such as Guild Bank should be in from the start instead of patch 2.3, coz it's just smth that wont impact the difficulty while making players life easier. Overall, I just want to enjoy arenas, and I want pve content to be a bit more challenging, and if they do not use 2.0 itemization to lower raid stats, they would have to buff bosses, and in most private servers if they opt to buff bosses what ends up happening is that most guilds just run 4-5 hunts and 5-6 locks and they just carry t4/5 so hard early on. Regarding the finger, I lost it when I was 3-4 years old, my brother chopped it off with an Axe ^^ "accident"
@@Forefinger404 Holy shit... I'd never forgive my sibling for that.... Maybe a pinkie toe Id forgive. As for the game... there is really nothing that can be done to stop people from blasting through the content. Like even medium guilds are going to require everyone be leatherworking for constant drums, guides for the first are already out. I have been in top end guilds (world 4th Naxx clear, US 10 Sunwell clear) and I have been in really shitty casual guilds... trust me here, plenty of people are gonna wipe and struggle in heroic 5 mans and the raids. With that said, the good-excellent guilds are going to breeze through TBC Classic, WOTLK Classic, etc. Nothing can prevent it, aside from a full rebalance of the game. I would really like it if they tweaked things, but I know they won't. First, you have the #NoChanges kids who never even cleared all of Vanilla and TBC, and then its just more work for Blizzard, so I highly doubt they will change everything. We will have to take the good of TBC along with all the bad. Id love to see Druids nerfed or other healers buffed so we dont have so many X + Druid teams but it wont happen.
@@Cruor34 Oh well, I love tbc in every shape and form, and as you mentioned, raids will be a joke anyway, but no need to make it easier then it already is, so having that 10-15 % lower stats on items looks like a nice way for an indirect buff to content. And when it comes to 5 man heroics, some classes have it way easier then others, coz early on, heroics are all about the setup, having correct form of cc and without any ass pulls, it's not that difficult (But for unexped people, it will be a nightmare yea), and without correct set-up some of them are not even doable. I mostly tanked Heroics as War, and I usually had Mage/Lock/Ele/Disc setup, and we would just breeze trough the hcs on each pserver launch. Having that imp blizz and lock seed can make bunch of melee packs easily kita-able and aoa-able. As for ranged packs, cc and 1 by 1 :D
@@Forefinger404 I am 100% sure Blizzard will go with 2.1 itemisation cuz 2.0 itemisation just makes Karazhan a dogshit raid to run when all the drops are out-classed by heroic loot.
@@bacchus8081 Well some of the bis items are from heroics in 2.0 yea, but Kara gear still has 5 % more in stats per item then heroic gear, even epics that drop from last bosses in HC are slightly under Kara gear (Not equal), and when you look at it, some of the heroic dungeons are harder to clear then kara to be fair, and some of em require almost perfect comps early on as SHH for example. So at the end of the day is 5 % worth it to do Kara? For me it is for few reasons: 1. Kara is really fun, chill and enjoyable raid where you can talk to your guildes and make new friends, 2. You still have bunch of upgrades inside, some classes more then others. 3. Prince drops T5= equal gear (So him alone can be that shiny reason for clearing 9/11 kara, that doesn't take to long if peeps know what to do) My thinking is - If Blizz decides to make fresh tbc realms, I think 2.0 would be way more interesting in my opinion. But to be fair Blizzard will 100 % go for Character Copy/Transfer and in that scenario 2.1 would be a better call, otherwise Nax gear would be op af. So yea, I agree with you to an extent and at the end of the day this is just my wishes vs reality, and reality is that we are getting 2.1 and char copy/transfers.

Nice video, looking forward to more TBC content!

Thanks for the video, felmyst releases in 3 days and it's using 2.0 items at launch.
Do you still have this atlasloot version?
Bro, nice vid. Since you love actual TBC, are you there for tomorrow fresh Skullcrusher realm? It bans addons and uses 2.0 items... should be fun!

They will go with 2.4.3 patch anyway.
Yea, they will for sure, I just thought it would be a fun little video
@@Forefinger404 yeah man, wasn't a negative comment just so you know but blizzard don't care enough to do a true progressive server which is a shame.
