There’s pros and cons to it, if we keep Pattinson, we won’t see any monster like or unrealistic characters like clay face (monster version), Man bat, Killer croc, etc. if we get Gunn’s version we’ll see a more comic accurate interpretation of the characters and we’ll even get robin.

Reboot with a new Batman is the overall best option. This is what I’d personally do. As we know the Batman part 2 is coming around October 2026. With that in mind here’s the best direction they can go. The Batman 2 release October 2026 and the movie ends in a way where if this was the last of the reeves batman than this is the perfect ending. But also leave it open for a 3rd movie. Basically an ending where a 3rd movie could be made but at the same time if this is the ending than this is the perfect ending. Now from here brave and the bold(bnb) will release around 2028. And before people say. Wait we have to wait that long for bnb ? It’s fine because of 1 reason. Teen titans and the dynamic duo will release before bnb. From here around mid 2028 brave and the bold releases and so overall here is my little time line of Batman, nightwing, red hood for the dcu Dcu Batman age 25: year 1 Batman age 28: dynamic duo. Dick Grayson(age 15) loses his parent and Bruce was in the audience the night it happened. But unlike the comics Bruce does not immediately adopt dick but instead he goes and searches for zuko. While Batman is searching for zuko the rest of this movie is from dick’s pov. Dick ends up living in the streets and meets Jason Todd age 14. They become friends and they work together to survive in the streets. They make their own robin suits and work together to find zuko. They end up finding zuko in the end but he escapes. Dick and Jason end up finding the Batmobile and try to steal the tires off of it and this is where batman meets dick and Jason. Batman realizes one of the kids is the kid from the circus. And from here Bruce takes in both dick and Jason as his robins. Yeah that’s right in this timeline Bruce had 2 robins at once. This movie releases early to mid 2027 Batman age 31: Barbara is paralyzed by the joker which than causes Jason to get angry and go after the joker. Bruce and dick manage to save Jason in time and as Bruce is about to take the joker in, jason gets angry cause he wants joker to be dead. This causes jason to leave and this moment also causes Batman to not want a robin anymore and so he tells dick that he can’t be robin anymore because he doesn’t want to lose him. Dick does not listen and ends up leaving. Shortly after this dick meets and forms the teen titans with cyborg bb raven and starfire. Batman age 33: dick has been with the titans for about 2 years at this point and is now 17. And this is where the teen titans movie will take place. The teen titans movie dick has been with titans for about a year or 2 and by the end of the movie he becomes nightwing. Meanwhile during the movie we find out that Jason has been with the league of assassins as the red hood( he’s mind controlled cause of the league a call back to young justice) this movie release mid to late 2027 Batman age 35: batman discovers red hood Batman age 36-38: brave and the bold where batman meets Damian Wayne and he’s the new robin. This movie releases 2028 Now what about Tim drake ? Well as u see I switched up the lore of the robins a little bit to better fit a more casual audience. So what id do with Tim is eventually I would make a future sequel to dynamic duo called the robins and this is a movie where nightwing red hood and robin(Damian) team up and this is where Tim is introduced and he teams up with the 3 robins by becoming Red Robin and they introduce him to batman by the end of the movie. So overall even tho we have to wait a while for the dcu batman movie it’s ok because we still got some batman content within the dcu by having teen titans and dynamic duo. After brave and the bold this is where wb/James Gunn can do what they want. They can make the 3rd reeves Batman movie or just continue the dcu Batman movies

So here’s what I’d do and that’s make brave and the bold the Batman part 3 Now I know in real life Robert Pattinson is 38 years old but we’re gonna say that in the Batman part 1 Bruce is 28 Here’s my timeline Bruce age 26: year 1 Bruce age 28: the Batman part 1. The same movie as real life. Bruce is in his 2nd year as Batman just like the movie. Nothing changes Bruce age 31: the Batman part 2. We find out 3 years has passed since the batman part 1. Batman since the flood has been training all over the world getting more martial arts training, getting smarter, getting stronger, faster, more athletic, etc… the goal is to make this Batman more fantastical. So after this timeskip we see a more skilled batman, stronger, faster, athletic, master of 100+ mma styles, higher iq, etc… that’s y his gadgets are more advanced better Batmobile starting to make the bat wing etc all of this is because of his time around the world. And so now the events of the Batman part 2 happens and the villains are the court of owls(it’s rumored anyways). By the end of the movie after Batman defeats the court of owls he goes to the circus and this is where the graysons die and this sets up dick Grayson and the next movie which is the dynamic duo Bruce age 31: dynamic duo. This movie will directly take place after the batman part 2 and so Bruce is still 31 in this timeline. Dynamic duo is about dick and Jason. Batman after witnessing the death of the graysons goes and searches for the killer that killed graysons parents meanwhile dick meets Jason and the story is about dick and Jason as robin. In the end dick and Jason catch zuko only for zuko to escape. Dick and Jason finds the Batmobile and try to steal it and this is where Robert Pattinson Batman finds the 2 of them and realizes that one of the kids is the same kid from the circus. Bruce after witnessing Jason almost dies becomes afraid of losing dick and tells Grayson that he can’t do this anymore. Grayson obviously doesn’t listen and leaves to go do his own thing and this is where he meets and forms the titans Bruce age 37: teen titans. This is where the teen titans movie takes place. Dick has been with the titans for about 3 years now and by the end of the movie he becomes nightwing. Meanwhile jason becomes red hood by the end of the movie. As u see from my timeline of Pattinson Batman in the dcu, you see that at the end of part 2 sets up dynamic duo. Well after brave and the bold u could make a the Batman part 3 where in the beginning of the movie Pattinson Batman talks to Damian and tells him the story of the Batman part 3 where by the end of part 3 sets up dynamic duo. An Earth-1 / Earth-2 version would be smart. Keep Pattinson for both; Reeves’ films deal more with the realistic, DCU with the supernatural, but 2 separate universes. They could try it out with the Clayface film. Kinda how the MCU has actors play the same characters in different universes.
Have to agree on Pattison and Reeves remaining Separate. I love The Batman and really want to see the planned trilogy come to be and if it were forced into the DCU it would only undermined the creative autonomy of Matt Reeves. I'm already sceptical of the DCU's plans to begin with, particularly the "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" approach it seems to be taking. Also I think introducing a new Batman in the DCU while the Reeves Batman is still around is a really bad idea, since it will probably result in internal competition between the films and inevitable one of those [probably the Brave and the Bold] will be viewed unfavourable. I think they should just wait till Reeves has finished his trilogy, cancel Brave and the Bold and use its slot to develop another film for another character. a Wonder Woman or Flash movie would be good.
Nothing about the Pattinson Batman lines up with what we know about the Brave and the Bold. It makes no sense and it's not happening. And no one will be confused if the Brave and the Bold comes out after the Reeves Batman trilogy is done.

I’m entertaining the argument of retconning Battinson into the DCU and going over the arguments that people have for that idea. As mentioned in the video, I disagree with that idea and stated that it’s not happening. If the Brave and The Bold drops after the Battinson trilogy then yes I’d lean more towards the general audience not being confused since one franchise would be concluded, but if both run at the same time then yes I think the general audience would most likely be confused. Not the average fan, but a casual movie goer would be. Are you more excited for The Brave and The Bold or The Batman Part II?! I’m very curious to see where people lean haha
