OMGGGG finally a booktuber that loves shadowhunters. Please do videos explaining the plot of each book (kinda like cari can read did for ACOTAR) I don’t care how long the vids are I WOULD LOVE TO WATCH THAT PLSSSSSS
@@jaelleouapou4578People stopped talking about it after infernal devices. Not much TLH or TDA. I also never see BookTubers talk about The Shadowhunters Codex, The Bane Chronicles, Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, and Ghosts of the Shadow Market (which is really sad because if you read these novellas in the series chronology, it really enriches the experience).
Its so interesting hearing about your take on these books! I started reading them in 2014 like right after City of Heavenly Fire came out so my journey with these books has been SUPER spread out. It's cool seeing someone just read them all at once
Being 15 years late to a trend is actually the best because all the installments are out, and the hype has died down so it can be your own cool thing that only you like 😂❤
I just went through every single one of your videos just for any mention of you talking about Cassandra Clare's books LOL. I loved watching you go through this journey because I was binging this whole series for the first time the same time you were! The Infernal Devices are my all time fav too and I literally agree with everything you say about 90% of the books hahaha. Thule was one of my fav moments about QoAaD as well... your content is everything!!
i do this all the time with other peoples channels!!! but that’s so fun that we were binging the series at the same time!! tid literally changed my life (not to be dramatic or anything…) thule was just such a fantastic plot point i was obsessed!! thank you!!
Tales of the Shadowhunter Academy was actually my favourite part of the whole universe, I'm a Simon Stan all the way though^^ Someday in the future I'd love to read the whole plot of The Mortal Instruments just from his perspective!
Rewatching your Cassandra Clare videos as I am either wanting to re-read the Infernal Devices or (more likely) start The Last Hours trilogy. Loved these videos before, and now it's been fun to revisit!
My favorite series in TID, my favorite character is Simon, Cordelia and Will. I just found your channel and im so glad you enter this world haha i started reading this books at 13, it has been 10 years. I finished chain of thorn last week and im so conflicted and thorn, will you be doing a video about it?
I guess my biggest curiosity as someone who read like more then half of PJO in 2020 (I didn't read all but I got the deal on how stuff works, how Rick writes connections etc. is how similar the series are like yea, I understand that the OG main series isn't as good as other main series and it also relies lots on spin-offs, and that's like a more mature version of PJO, especially since I heard that Cassandra an and Rick pay tributes to each other
very valid, i was unaware of that plot line when i first read city of bones so that was a nasty shock, BUT i hope you give the infernal devices a chance!
My favorite character is also Jem out of all them but I also love Simon from TMI and Mark, Kieran and Christina from TDA. I always end up liking the side characters more. I also LOVE Matthew Fairchild soooo much
Nice enough video, only thing is you may wanna remember some of the terminology better. Specifically the Forsaken is not what you thought they were. You were talking about the Endarkened. Either way, nice vid.
This is making me want to reread all the books!! Now the question is, do i read in chronological order or publication order? Id love to get peoples opinions
i think chronological order is probably the best out of the two especially if this is a reread for you! publication order kind of jumps back and forth between series a bit (if i’m remembering correctly) which doesn’t sound super fun to me, but ultimately i think either would be great!
there’s a few ways you can go about it, here’s an article that covers them all! rivetedlit.com/2020/03/04/cassandra-clare-books-in-order/ any of them will do, chronological is probably the best, but you must read the infernal devices before the last three mortal instruments books!!
Agree, the love triangle in The Infernal Devices is so well constructed. There’s no way to hate that.
i mean honestly... cc really did something with that one wow!!
@@katieisreadingyes! I wanted both of them🥹😂
Low key, I think Dark Artifices is one of my favorites. Watching this kind of made me want to re read it 👀
It's so fun to see anyone talk about a book/series they love!
it's my fav part of watching booktube!!

I didn't read Last Hours yet, so my favorites are Izzy, Simon, Jem, Magnus and Emma. My favorite series is also The Infernal Devices.
How is Jace not in thereeee
@@jazzyworm Jace is great, but he annoyed me SO much in the second trilogy
i kinda wanna read this series & it was so fun to see ur thoughts

ty for watching anyway🥺 (but also i totally recommend you read them... but if they're not your thing that's cool too!)
Always good to see someone enthuse about their reading and enjoy reading.
@@ba-gg6jo yes!
@@katieisreading honestly, I'll take your word for it. I'm not comfortable with the inc*st bit so I may try reading the infernal devices one instead.

I read all of them last year and they were just so fun even though I definitely have problems with them but idc lol
My favorite character is also Jem out of all them but I also love Simon from TMI and Mark, Kieran and Christina from TDA. I always end up liking the side characters more. I also LOVE Matthew Fairchild soooo much
no i am trash for this series at this point i dont even care lol
a fantastic character choice (obviously jem is also my fav), and i also tend to go for side characters in any book i read so i feel that!!
Favourite series is either TID or TLH. My favourite characters are Magnus, James, Will, Jem, Tessa and Clary.
PS. I love your videos.
Wow, Three Months. Bravo to you. My goal is to read them in a year or at least The Mortal Instruments part which is only 10 books out of the series.
i’m planning on doing a tsc rr so this feels like perfect timing to motivate me haha!
enjoy your reread!! i'm definitely going to have to reread all of these series again at some point too!
my fav characters are matthew,tessa,will,gem,anna
i really want to start this series
