There really isn't any great clips of Stargazer on RUclips. Much of the footage is from the 1977 Munich concert which was recorded by a German media production which all the songs are on RUclips, individually and whole concert. I strongly recommend viewing these videos, the concert was outstanding. Songs like "Mistreated", "Catch the Rainbow" and "Man on the Silver Mountain" are outstanding. The other songs are also extended and worth watching as well.
LOL, as the video went on, I realized the young lady's hair matched the blue in the Nightwish shirts... Good on you for showing the classics to your daughter.
Line up: Jimmy Bain - Bass Ritchie Blackmore - guitar Tony Carey - Keyboards Ronnie James Dio - Vocals Cozy Powell- Drums. And yes, you are correct, it is the album version from 1976’s Rising album, played over a montage of expertly edited live footage from the period. When Blackmore, Dio and Powell were together MAGIC happened. Glad you both liked.
Rainbow is the band name in which they took from the Rainbow bar and grill in LA. Blackmore saw Ronnie with the Band Elf, Ronnie's band when they opened for Deep Purple. When he left deep Purple, hre hired the entire band minus the guitar player and they became Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow
Hello from France! I saw you multiple times during the video doing the sign🤘. Actually, Dio is the man who "imported" this in the heavy rock world. As i know, his mother was showing her hands like this not to call the demons, but to chase them. It is a peaceful picture actually!🤘✌️😉
Ritchie Blackmore`s Rainbow became just Rainbow, Dio was the best singer they had, the album is from the LIVE in MUNICH tour., Gates of Babylon, Kill the King, Mistreate, give them all a listen.

Keys on the track are by the wonderful Tony Carey but this is the lineup after he left and was replaced (briefly as usual!) by David Stone. R.I.P. RJD, Cozy and Jimmy Bain, still loved, still missed. One minor gripe though - Dash, could you please, please not repeat the godawful Amazeballs word, remember where it came from!

Sorry but I just cringed when you paused it on the most haunting part of Dio's vocal. That sustained note gave me absolute goosebumps the first time I heard this song. Dio had such a powerful voice. R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio.
