Hey Alex, I absolutely fell in love with the BMW R or K 100 bikes , when they are turned into a Cafe Racer style, they look sexy period . Love the set up on yours and the colour choice , I was debating a Grey and ( Taupe / Mahogany seat ) combo . Seeing yours and I'm sold , great contrast ... Thanks for the breakdown on the costs .. Have fun and thanks.....

I just started to work on my k1100. My plan is to keep the forks and wheels to save some money but I am thinking to redo electrics with mo.unit blue. Not sure though if I should keep the ABS, what to do about those front and rear sets. I would also like to reroute the exhaust to the other side but considering this is my first bike I'm thinking this could be left for a later stage.
Looking forward to see your budget build series.

looks sick, thanks for sharing the cost. I want to build a k100 or k1100 cafe racer but wasn't sure how much to expect the total build to cost. What yours comes out to is in my opinions pretty reasonable.
