Love how neat and well laid out your designs are. Even if you don't feel the same about some of it, I could rarely come close to emulating similar designs.
Hands down my favorite series on factorio! I dont know how you do the building in the tinelapse though, especially when youre doing the paths, flowing out in multiple directions.. just how? Also the speed you put stuff down at.. just how? Anyway loving the designs..!
Cheers dude, glad you're enjoying it. The paths are just basic stop motion. Build a bit of path, take a shot, built a bit more path, take a shot etc. Its work but I think the effect speaks for itself. The speed I put stuff down, that's all about frame rates. How much area am I covering in shot? How quickly do I think I'll be filling the screen? It's about adjusting the capture frame rate to match what's happening on screen. I'm a dozen timelapses in at this point, I've got a really good feel for what I'm doing with it.
I bever thought about stopmotion but yes it speaks for itself, makes for a very nice viewing, though thats also the esthetics and narration.. very enjoyable! Is this all in sandbox cause not everything seems unlocked or do you have a starter base offscreen somewhere? Keep up the great vids man !
This feels like an ominous comment. Maybe the kind of thing I should investigate, get to the bottom of and prepare for. Or I could just ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist.
as far as i know you can not handcraft any science tech cards past basic, at least i can say i can not do it in my k2+aai playthrough. uranium affects characters hp only when: 1) you are near the ore patch and 2) you have raw uranium, u-235, u-238, uranium fuel or used uranium fuel cell in your inventory. uranium on belts or in machines is safe to run around
Oxygen is used in very large volumes for rocket fuel. In my Krastorio+SE run, I actually ran into a problem with the pipes themselves being a bottleneck for rocket fuel production. However in base Krastorio 2 you aren't using nearly as much rocket fuel as in K2+Space Exploration, so I feel like putting it on the bus will work fine.

Great video and some very good explanations of your thought processes, great stuff!

25:14 remember the time you were worried about oversizing your powerplant in K2

The large-scale chlorine production was a very good decision. Late-game K2 is extremely chlorine intensive.

Time for barrel loops 😆
How do you put pipes next to each other without them connecting ? I love your videos and the way you design stuff by the way
Cheers dude. Flow control, its a mod.
